About this venue
The Wild Rose Dairy was owned and operated by the Oiland family for over 50 years. The cows are gone now, but for four generations the family has continued to operate the farm. We have remodeled our fifty-year-old hay barns into The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie. We've worked hard to maintain the rustic charm of the property, while adding the modern amenities you would want from an event facility. We take pride in providing you with the professional experience you expect in the casual, country atmosphere you crave. Over the past 13 years we have hosted hundreds of weddings, and we have taken great pleasure in helping couples achieve the personalized celebration of their dreams. Inside, the original timber walls provide a rich, historic feel, while elegant French doors and windows flood the space with natural light. The facility extends to a spacious covered deck, perfect for sunset toasts or an alfresco cocktail hour. Beyond the barn, a sprawling one-acre lawn offers a tranquil setting for ceremonies under the wide-open sky. With a dedicated, climate-controlled dressing suite and charming rustic accents like authentic milk cans and colored glassware, every detail is crafted for comfort and style.

Our wedding season is generally considered to be May through mid October. We do have special circumstances where we can host off-season event in April, late-October, and early-November.

Simply Outstanding!
The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly friendly, professional, and inclusive in guiding us through the planning process. They provided great value and a very chic, picturesque setting for our special day. Chris and his family, were very engaged and easy to work with - they helped us seamlessly incorporate all of our special requests during the rehearsal and collaborated closely with our DJ to keep the timeline running smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage, and we highly recommend The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience.
