About this venue

The Amish Barn at Edge is an authentic, Amish-built barn located on a scenic, secluded patch of land in Edge, Texas! Within our grounds, you'll find the barn itself, a blacksmith shop, one belltower, and a fully furnished farmhouse for your convenience—all surrounded by beautiful, rolling countryside. Over the years, we have had the honor of hosting not only beautiful weddings, but family reunions, formal dances, corporate parties, and even Aggie Muster for the class of '69. Our walls can accommodate 225 of your closest friends and family, with room for a dance floor. However, as an indoor/outdoor venue, we are always open to events much smaller or much larger!

A beautiful space to make beautiful memories

With its' exposed wood walls and heavy timber construction, The Amish Barn has an aura that is as warm as it is lovely and authentic. Its open floor plan features sweeping muslin draping about the beams, a (movable) bar, and countless lights to make it twinkle. The Amish Barn at Edge's grounds is home to much more than the barn itself, however. Our acreage includes a bell tower, a small vineyard, one blacksmith shop, and a cozy farmhouse for our guests to stay in!

The Farmhouse

A peaceful place to rest

Predating the barn by a handful of years, our farmhouse is simultaneously the perfect place to rest as well as get ready! Fully furnished and delightfully cozy, this 4 bed, 2 bath house has just about everything one might need. Surrounded by quiet countryside, just like the barn, many of our guests have remarked that their evenings spent here are some of the most peaceful nights of their lives. Booking the farmhouse during an event is entirely optional, but very much encouraged!

Description

Our Original package is our bread and butter and thus, we highly recommend it! Selecting this package reserves the venue for 3 days total, allowing your party time to decorate, make memories, celebrate, and take it all down without feeling rushed or adding any stress. During these 3 days, the venue and farmhouse (if you wish to use it) are entirely yours!

    The Amish Barn Venue

    The Amish Barn At Edge was the perfect venue for our wedding! The space is beautiful and has so much character, with its exposed wooden beams and rustic charm. They were available to help when we needed them for both setting up and the wedding day, making sure everything ran smoothly. The team was professional and responsive, and the support they provided was exceptional. Our guests raved about the gorgeous setting. We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate our special day at this wonderful venue!

We do not have a minimum attendance requirement! The Amish Barn is open to all events, no matter the head count.
Yes! The Amish Barn offers several pasture locations for our guests to park in. Where your friends and loved ones park is entirely up to you!
Your starting rental fee of $5250 includes two fully refundable security deposits. $500 for the barn itself and $250 for the farmhouse (if you choose to use it)! It also includes access to the venue for bridal photos, use of the venue for rehearsal dinners, day of event staff, waste management, and use of our Crazy Cow drink trailer.
Yes, our couples may purchase alcohol for a TABC certified bartender to dispense. However, we no longer allow Bring Your Own Cooler/Beer policies at our events.
For events that will feature alcohol, we require that at least one security personnel be present at all times for the duration of the event. We also require alcohol to be dispensed by a TABC-certified bartender.
Yes we do! Our restrooms are separate from the barn and feature both a men's and women's section. We keep our bathrooms clean and fully stocked during all events.
While our prices do not differ, our peak season begins in late October and typically ends at the beginning of May.
While our prices for this time of year are no different, our off-peak season ranges from mid-May to mid-October.
Although most of our grounds are unpaved, all of our buildings are completely accessible and have ramps where needed!
Yes! We offer a small handful of things for an additional fee such as round/rectangular table rentals, chair rentals, and bags of ice. All prices are listed on our website!
