Gorgeous indoor/outdoor reception space in stunning mountain surroundings.

The Phoenix provides over 6000 square feet of indoor space with a wall of accordion windows opening up to 3000 square feet of outdoor deck. The space also features a wood burning fireplace with lounge area, A/V capabilities, adjustable lighting and windows on three sides of the room.

Sitting in the Upper Plaza of our main base area, the Martini Tree indoor space features 3000 square feet with an optional 1300 square foot deck. The indoor space has a built in bar, pool table built from hand hewn logs and great views of the ski hill. This is a great space for a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch or a smaller wedding reception.

    STUNNING venue with top-notch staff!

    When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew from the start that we wanted to prioritize convenient/comfortable accommodations for our guests, delicious food, and beautiful nature. Taos Ski Valley delivered on all accounts and then some! From our very first tour to checking out on the day after our wedding, everyone (especially Sara and Lauryn) went above and beyond to bring the vision we had for our wedding weekend to life. Everyone was kind and accommodating even when unpredictable weather threw the weekend into chaos. The forecasted storms luckily blew over, and while it was still quite windy, it made for gorgeous pictures! We booked a penthouse suite at the Blake for our wedding party to use as a home base for the weekend, which felt so luxurious and made everything easy for getting ready on the day-of. At the wedding, our guests raved about the scenery, service, and food—a wonderful time was had by all! Taos Ski Valley was the first and best decision we made for our wedding and we would do it again a hundred times! 10/10!

    Wedding Day

    The staff at Taos Ski Valley Resort we're all amazing! They made our special weekend and the day of the wedding so special. It was a memorable moment for sure with the rain and making it a Twilight moment. Lauryn and Sara are the two that made sure things went on track and to make sure we had umbrellas. Every preparation for the wedding came out beautiful. If you want to have a wedding this is the place with beauty from the mountains.

    Planned a flawless wedding in less than 2 months!

    Taos Ski Valley was our dream wedding location, but due to increased costs we decided to book with a more affordable venue a few miles away. Well, you get what you pay for! After chaotic months of planning with Angel Fire Resort staff, this more affordable venue ended up canceling our wedding with less than two months to our wedding date. We immediately called Taos Ski Valley to find that they still had our wedding date available. Thank goodness! We booked with Taos Ski Valley and experienced a flawless wedding in less than two months planning. We're grateful for Taos Ski Valley, the Blake Hotel, and all the amazing staff! We highly recommend this wedding venue, if you can afford it. Five stars all around!

    Magical Day!

    We were very pleased with the overall experience at Taos Ski Valley for our wedding--from the planning to the service and execution on our special day. We had the ceremony at the platform and the reception at the Bavarian. All of the details from the sound system, order of operations, food, drinks, etc. were addressed ahead of time and everything went smoothly. What a memorable and magical day!

No, we have a resort wide liquor license and no outside alcohol is permitted in our event spaces. We have several great bar packages to choose from.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Memorial Day weekend through Mid October.
We can accommodate winter weddings during the months of December, January, February & March. We have two shoulder seasons; our resort closes from the first week in April until Memorial Day weekend, as well as Mid-October until the week before Thanksgiving.
We have complimentary parking in our main base area. There is limited parking at the Ceremony and Reception sites so we encourage a shuttle.
The use, set up and break down of anything we have in house, such as: tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and linens.
