About this venue

The Cellar Venue at Stardust Cellars is the perfect place to host your wedding or special event. Located in Wilkesboro, NC, in the heart of Appalachia, this biodynamic meadery and winery offers a unique experience with some of the finest traditionally crafted meads and wines in the country. With an “Old World European” vibe and mixed natural textures, The Cellar has 12 taps that vary in NC Craft Beers and the SDC brand of custom meads. The property is located on 18.6 acres, including a vineyard, festival grounds, dry camping, a 9-hole disc golf course, a garden, and our main venue building. The Cellar offers budget-friendly package options, plus a friendly staff that can accommodate both traditional and non-traditional events. In the main venue building, your event space consists of over 3,000 sq ft of open space for tables and chairs, a built-in wooden dance floor, a stage, a bar, and more! Our vibe at The Cellar makes it easy for any couple’s event theme to go “moody” or “bright”!

We have 3,000 sq feet of floor space for tables, 250 sq foot stage, 500 sq foot wooden dance floor, and 26 ft long bar!

    We had to change our wedding date from next year to this year due to some family members health issues and Kim and the staff went over and beyond to help me pull off the wedding of my dreams within a month! I will forever be grateful for them. The venue space was beautiful, the options presented were amazing, and extremely affordable! They truly helped me have an amazing day and my guest an awesome experience! I will 10000000% recommend as a venue for anything, not just weddings!

    No matter what your need is, this venue has it. Not only beautiful place, but beautiful people to work with. Open minded, open hearted, and willing to do what it takes to make any event amazing! Not to mention amazing Mead and Wine too!
