Perfect get away spot on the river

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was so nice and secluded. We were here during the off-season so we were like the only ones there. The deck is amazing to watch the sunrise and the barges. Everything was clean and taken care of. The golf cart trails were nice. The Jacuzzi tub was nice. I literally did not want to leave. You can also bring your fur baby for a little extra 💵

We absolutely love this place. We will visit again soon. Very relaxing quite stay. We stayed again 2026 but not in the same room. This was a bungalow and they let pets stay. I didn’t think it was a big deal. But I could smell the pet and got the pet hair on my socks. I had to hang a car air freshener on the ceiling fan. It helped some. The room was ok the fridge is cold but not very and noisy and the bed was a button mattress and you could feel every button. I didn’t sleep the first night and hardly slept the rest of our stay. I don’t mind pets but they need a few rooms with no pets allowed. At least it was quiet and peaceful. The road was awful full of holes. So be careful. Nothing hurt but my bad back. They had toilet paper, soap and shampoo,conditioner and body wash in the shower. Hair dryer and towels. They only had decaf coffee. Good thing we brought our own. The jacuzzi was nice. Oh and as you come in the driveway there is a big dip in the road. I suggest that they at least write on the road in paint the word BUMP OR DIP. It would save from a big surprise and hitting the bottom of your vehicle. Don’t get me wrong I love this place. It just needs a few things added and updated. So I am giving it a 4 star this time.
