About this venue

Nestled in the Texas Hill Country near Lake Buchanan — just one hour northwest of Austin — Rustic Sunset is a venue designed for weddings, and celebrations. Our 7,400 sq ft climate-controlled main hall seats 350+ comfortably, offering 2 indoor ceremony locations, bad weather or Texas heat is never a problem. Simply divide the room for an indoor ceremony (stage or wall of windows) with reception tables and ceremony chairs already set, we clear the ceremony chairs to reveal the dance floor. Our open-air chapel offers a natural beauty that no decoration could ever replicate. There’s an elegant Bridal Suite with glamor bar and lighted mirrors, an entertaining Grooms Suite with poker table and foosball, a large stage, custom built bar with beer/soda cooler and champagne/wine fridge as well as an x-large caterers kitchen. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a full-scale celebration, our space gives you the canvas to bring your vision to life exactly the way you imagine it.

The bridal suite features a custom floral wall perfect for photos, full-length mirrors, a mannequin stand for the bride's gown, cozy couches and a loveseat, and a custom makeup bar with lighted mirrors. A coffee cart, private entrance to the women's restrooms, and a private patio entrance ensure the bride moves through her day with ease and privacy.
