About this venue

Ruby Oaks is a one-of-a-kind farm wedding and event venue in Pierson, Florida, near DeLand and about an hour from Orlando. We host weddings of up to 100 guests, with separate spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, including a climate-controlled converted airplane hangar, the Evergreen Garden, and a white sand beach by the pond. Couples love our farmhouse bridal suite, groom's quarters, string-lit grounds, and photos with our farm animals, including Ruby the zebra and Charlie the camel. Choose an all-inclusive wedding package or a DIY venue-only option, and stay on-site for a full wedding weekend. We also host bridal showers, birthdays, reunions and corporate events. Tours available any day of the week.

    Hidden Gem in Florida for Wedding Venues

    I hosted an event at Ruby Oaks in Pierson and it couldn’t have gone better. The venue is naturally stunning, with beautiful event space, breath taking ceremony space, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable right away. Skip and his team were incredible throughout the entire process. They helped with setup, answered every question, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The animals on the property, especially the zebra, were a huge hit and added something special you don’t get at most venues. Guests loved the on-site lodging, and I appreciated how easy everything was thanks to the support from the staff.

    The Perfect Affordable Orlando Wedding Venue

    The place seemed beautiful, however there was a miscommunication with the staff, we scheduled a tour and arrive 5 mins early, reached out to whom we thought would be our tour guide amanda, we waited for 10 mins then called, no response, waited 20 mins and decided to leave, we drove 1 hr to the venue…. As soon as we leave we get a call that the tour guide was there, no one waited outside to welcome us, I was called by skip(the tour guide) and was asked to return I was in the middle of explaining my frustration with the communication issue only to get hang up on!!

    Beautiful wedding venue, perfect outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception area. My husband and I had the best night of our life’s. The bartender was brilliant!

Absolutely. Ruby Oaks is fully on ground level, so guests with mobility needs can move around with ease.
Catering is not included at Ruby Oaks, giving you full flexibility to design your menu your way. Our open catering policy allows you to bring in the caterer you love—whether that’s a favorite family chef, a trusted local caterer, or someone new you’ve been excited to try. We do however offer catering with our all inclusive packages.
While the bar isn’t included, couples love that they can provide their own liquor, whether that’s your signature cocktail ingredients or your favorite bottles from Costco or Total Wine. Our licensed bartenders will take it from there, serving your guests with professionalism and care. Bar service and packages are available through Ruby Oaks at an extra cost. Yes! Ruby Oaks offers two on-site lodging options so you can truly make the most of your wedding weekend. We have a charming 3-bedroom home that sleeps up to 7 guests and a cozy camper that sleeps 4. Couples often use these spaces for getting ready, family stays, or as a fun spot for the bridal party to gather. Rental of both of these properties is not included in the venue rate, but can be added for a small fee.
Absolutely! Pets are welcome at Ruby Oaks, and many couples choose to have their dogs walk down the aisle, join photos, or simply be part of the big day.
Absolutely! Interacting with the animals is one of the highlights of Ruby Oaks. We have chickens, goats, highland cows, zonkey, camels, donkey, pigs and yes even a zebra!
