    If you are reading this, you are seeing it right. I am only giving this venue 1 star primarily because it made for a pretty wedding for my daughter. However, the management, security, and overall assistance from both the event caterer assigned to the venue and the management office is sorely lacking. The King’s Centre building is open to the public, which makes it a place for the homeless and others seeking to steal, find a place to sleep, etc. to come in and out throughout the day. However, they have also figured out ways to prop open doors and go in throughout the night as well. The night after our rehearsal, the bridal suite was robbed. My wife and daughter lost lots of jewelry, gift cards to be given to people involved in her wedding, etc. The venue does not see themselves responsible so we received no help from them. An investigator went the next day following her wedding and was able to walk freely anywhere he wanted to go in the building. When you rent this venue, you are pretty much “on your own.” We didn’t let a bad morning destroy a beautiful wedding day. But I encourage you, please DO NOT Rent this facility. There’s much more I could say. If you would like to know more, reply to this review.

    We’re truly sorry your family had to deal with a stressful situation during such an important weekend. We never want any couple or family to have concerns like this attached to a wedding day. For clarity, our team did accommodate a request for early access before the rehearsal. As part of that early access, we reviewed that the venue level and elevator access must remain secured when the space is not actively in use, which is also outlined in our rental agreement and venue policies. The King’s Centre is a shared-use, downtown building (including public areas on the first floor), which is why access to the second-floor venue is typically restricted outside scheduled event hours. While we take any reported incident seriously and cooperated fully when this was brought to our attention, we cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings left unattended in the venue overnight.     We had our corporate event at Monarch on Main, and everything was great from start to finish. The space was perfectly set up for our event. The staff was attentive, helpful, and easy to work with, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend Monarch on Main in Johnson City for any corporate event.

    We recently hosted a corporate event at Monarch on Main, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a successful event. Breelyn and Lindsay were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive, thorough, and answered every question along the way. The space was set up perfectly and exceeded our expectations. Main Street Catering provided the food, and it was exceptional. The quality, presentation, and service were all top-notch.
