Welcome to the Lumber Exchange Event Center, a historic gem nestled in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. You'll be swept away by The Lumber Exchange's old-world charm— grand arches, romantic chandeliers, lofty ceilings, and dazzling marble floors. The original exposed brick paired with modern touches creates an industrial vibe that’s sure to captivate both you and your guests. The venue comes with two private suites and a dedicated cocktail hour space, making it ideal for intimate gatherings or grand celebrations. We’re here to make your day seamless from start to finish. Our venue rental includes a range of essentials, from tables, chairs, and linens to servers, bartenders, a wireless microphone, surround sound, two private suites, and liability insurance. We take care of setup and teardown so you can focus on enjoying your day. With skyway access to two hotels and a 700-stall covered parking garage, travel and lodging for you and your guests are both convenient and stress-free.

    We just got married at The Lumber Exchange in September and had the best experience. Right from the start, Will (account executive)helped us work within our budget, he was right there to answer every little question we had along the way, and made sure our day everything we wanted it to be. The Fountain Room is a gorgeous space and they have several beautiful spots throughout the venue for great pictures. Destiny (day of concierge) was lovely and so helpful. All of the staff (bartender, servers, security, etc) were amazing and our taco bar was delicious! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding experience!

    After touring multiple venues in Minneapolis, the Lumber Exchange was the perfect choice for us. Without knowing exactly what our "dream wedding" would look like, the team at the Lumber Exchange guided us through planning in a way that organically created the PERFECT day and night for our wedding. The venue's new chef, Ali, was so incredible and worked with us to make a few changes to an already-DELICIOUS menu (we asked for a lighter sauce to go with the salmon) and the guests said all night that it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! The parking ramp attached to the venue was great for guests to easily access an otherwise-intimidating downtown excursion! The bridal and groom's suites were both beautifully maintained and secure for the day and evening making it so comfortable to get ready and celebrate! Also, between the parking ramp rooftop, the stunning staircase and light shining in from downtown through the massive windows in the Dylan Room, the venue provided so many amazing photo opportunities. We were so at ease for the entire process, and we would recommend this space to anyone looking for a classy venue that is SO well-run, all of the typical stressors one might encounter in planning a wedding are completely taken care of. A special thanks to Hannah Fox who was our assigned (included in the cost of the rental) coordinator and Shannon who was the manager of the building for both our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. They were a dream team one can only........dream of! Attention to detail, charming personalities and complete support of all ideas we had!

    The Lumber Exchange Event Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we booked with them, the staff was incredibly communicative, caring, and fun to work with. They stayed in close contact with us throughout the planning process, which we really appreciated. While they did make a few minor mistakes with the food selections, the overall quality of their work and value was excellent. The venue itself was beautiful, convenient, functional, and highly customizable - allowing us to create the wedding of our dreams. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend the Lumber Exchange to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding venue.
