    Do not book

    I would not recommend this venue at all. Please do your research before you book here. This place gave me a hard time from the beginning. First, they are super nice and get you to sign the contract in the beginning. I was told after I signed that I would be contacted for the food tasting. I was told it would be at the end of the month, then that it would be in the beginning of the month. Then was told I had to pay more the day of the food tasting. After, I was told I needed to have insurance for the treats that I was bringing. Which by the way I did get and they never bothered to request from me. The day of the tasting we noticed that basically everyone there works together, so since you have to make sure each vendor outside has insurance you basically have no choice but to get everything from them, the prices are reasonable for the cake and decoration. You will be stressed out of your mind if you go with this place. They convinced me to do serve to table and that my guest would be served as they came in, well my husband and I had to go to the kitchen several times to ask them to serve the guest, which by the way they took some time or told guest dinner was over, we paid for 160 plates and we definitely did not get them. The pitchers of water and soda were not being refilled and we had to ask them to refill them. It wasn’t until guest started asking for water at the bar that they refilled the pitchers. The staff was eating the food in front of guest. The place is beautiful but the service is terrible especially the day of the event. They might just need more staff. But honestly they tell you everything is included and then you find out it’s not. I had to pay extra to use the monitors and for the MC. If you do decide to go with them just make sure you get everything in writing.

First, we want to make it absolutely clear that all services, pricing, additional fees, and vendor requirements were provided to you in writing. These details were disclosed before your event, and we find it disappointing that previously agreed-upon terms are now being portrayed as unexpected charges or changes to your agreement. Regarding dinner service, our staff began serving guests as they arrived, exactly as arranged. Nearly all 160 of your expected guests attended, and the remaining food was packaged and provided to you to take home. Therefore, the suggestion that you did not receive the food you paid for is inaccurate. We would also like to address your comments about our employees eating. Our staff works long hours preparing for and executing events, and like employees in any other profession, they are entitled to meal breaks. We believe our team deserves the same consideration and respect that anyone would expect in their own workplace. As for outside vendors, our insurance requirements exist to protect our clients, their guests, and our venue. These requirements do not obligate anyone to use our recommended vendors. We understand that no event is perfect, and we are always open to constructive feedback. However, there is an important difference between expressing dissatisfaction and presenting information that contradicts the written agreements and services provided. At Hello Banquet, we take pride in our transparency, our team, and the celebrations we help bring to life. We stand behind our agreements and the services delivered.
