About this venue

Flamingo Gardens Botanical Garden & Wildlife Sanctuary is a full-service wedding venue located in South Florida. Your guests will be surrounded by lush greenery and preserved nature, while free-roaming peacocks provide a stunning backdrop for photos and memorable times. Whether you’re interested in booking an intimate micro-wedding, or an extravagant ceremony and reception, our garden venue is perfect for whatever you may be looking for. Our historical Banyan Tree grows directly behind our wedding arch, providing a majestic covering and backdrop while you say your vows. Or if you’d prefer a more rustic touch, our garden gazebo can transform into the perfect space to say, “I do”. Close-by, we offer a beautiful cocktail area complete with bistro lighting and high-top tables, which can be decorated to your desire. Our reception area is an outdoor covered pavilion and can accommodate up to 180 guests, with a fully-functioning kitchen that our caterers work from directly.

This space is outdoors, under the shade of our beautiful Banyan Tree. It comes equipped with a stationary arch and is connected to our outdoor cocktail area. The entire space is covered in turf and surrounded by preserved horticulture. Our garden as a whole, also provides shelter for many roaming wildlife - so you may end up with some surprise visitors!

Bridal Cottage

An on-site bridal suite to get ready for your big day

Our rustic bridal cottage provides for great photo opportunities and comes equipped with multiple outlets for your hair & makeup team, seating for you & your bridal party, an AC unit, plenty of mirrors, & a divider if you need to change at any point. This space buys you an extra hour before the event, as well as access throughout the duration of the event. We highly recommend this space as a get-away area for the couple and/or small children.

The perfect space for intimate events surrounding the big day

A little less rustic and a little more ballroom, our Learning Center offers an indoor, air-conditioned space with AV and a kitchenette included. With a wraparound porch and a view of our beautiful entryway horticulture, this space is ideal for showers, brunches, or gatherings surrounding the actual wedding day.

Description

This package offers you, your photographer, and up to four guests a permit which allows full guest access into the gardens to take photos for two hours. Additional guests are $25 each, and additional hours are $150 each. Must be reserved ahead of time and within garden hours only.

Our entire season is from November through May only. The time of year does not affect the pricing, however the day of the week does. Weekends start off at a higher price, as opposed to weekday pricing.
We do not host weddings June through October, in order to avoid hurricane season and other common weather issues that occur around that time in South Florida. Our season is from November through June.
One of our preferred caterers will provide you with a licensed bartender, who must be the only individual serving alcohol on-site, per our insurance policy. Select caterers will allow you to provide your own alcohol, as long as you deliver it to them beforehand for them to bring with them on the event day.
We have four main lots located at the main entrance to the gardens. This is free and open to the public. In addition, we have a limited amount of parking spots directly behind the venue which we reserve for the bridal party, vendors, and anyone who cannot make the walk through the garden. Shuttle service is available at the end of the event, via golf cart.
Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and back lot entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff. In addition, we have wheelchairs and buggies available for rent which can be requested ahead of time for the event day.
Our starting fee is according to your guest count for the ceremony only. With this space, set-up and clean-up of your first 100 chairs is included. Because we have many furniture and set-up options, we recommend scheduling a tour for a fully personalized reception quote.
The event time for guests is 5 hours, with the entrance gate opening 30 mins prior to event start time. Bridal party and vendors can arrive 1-2 hours ahead of time. Our facilities will already be set up and ready for your arrival.
Upon cancellation, you will receive 50% of your deposit back, up to 90 days of booked event. If cancelling event within 90 days of original booking, your deposit becomes non-refundable.
