About this venue

Dream Bay Resort is a family-owned waterfront vacation rental property and wedding venue in the heart of Key Largo, FL, right on the Gulf of Mexico, with spectacular sunset views! We offer a full buyout of our beautiful 3.5 acre property, so that you and your guests can have it all to yourselves! There are 3 beach areas, swaying palm trees, gorgeous banyan trees, tiki huts, lush greenery, and a laid back, "boho" tropical island vibe! To make things easy for our couples, we also include, tables, chairs, bistro lighting, set up/breakdown, and arbor/arch. An onsite caterer is also available, although you're free to choose your own vendors and bring in your own alcohol. We sleep 36 guests on site, and there are nearby hotels and motels to accommodate all additional wedding guests. If you're looking for a smaller, semi-private elopement or microwedding, we also offer those for weddings up to 50 guests.

Dream Bay Resort was an incredible venue for our wedding weekend. We actually reserved it without ever seeing it in person, which felt like a bit of a leap at the time—but it truly could not have worked out better. Because we were planning our wedding from outside the country, we opted to use their on site property manager / wedding planner Lana and we highly recommend anyone considering this addition to not think twice!! She went above and beyond to make things easier for us, was always available for any questions and was extremely easy to communicate with and was ultimately the reason why our entire weekend went exactly as we hoped it would. She even allowed us to ship packages to her ahead of time so we didn’t have to travel with bulky items. That level of support made such a difference while planning from afar. We hosted three events over the weekend—a welcome party, our wedding, and a brunch. Lana truly brought our vision to life for each one. Her creativity and eye for décor are incredible. She was able to recreate Pinterest inspiration we sent her from just a single photo, and everything turned out even better than we imagined. The entire Dream Bay team was amazing, and they handled the setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for all of our events, which made the weekend feel seamless. One of the best decisions we made was renting out the entire property. Having the resort exclusively for our guests created such a special atmosphere. Being able to walk between the cottages to visit friends and family throughout the weekend made everything feel intimate and relaxed, and it made getting to each of our events incredibly convenient for everyone. Obviously the setting itself is absolutely stunning— the sunsets and waterfront views provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos.

Dream Bay Resort was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. We honestly booked on a whim without ever seeing the place in person and it was the best decision ever. From the moment we booked, the team there especially Lana the property manager and the owner Tanya was amazing. They are easy going, quick to respond, respectful, and incredibly helpful. Lana was there for us every step of the way, helping with any last minute changes and sharing her knowledge of the venue and local vendors. You couldn’t have imagined a better backdrop than the beautiful sunset and just views there. The overall value was amazing - we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff at the Dream Bay set up and broke down all the tables and chairs for us for our welcome party, wedding AND brunch. If you are coming from out of town like us, Lana has lots of big and small decor items that can be used so you don’t have to worry about figuring out how to get it there. We had the entire property to ourselves which allowed us to really enjoy the moment. Seriously, if you are looking for a venue that you can entirely personalize and bring in any vendor, this is the place. We rented the entire property (that comes with 6 cottages) for a weekend and it was magical just being on property with some of our family and our bridal party. It lessens post wedding blues because you still have the property to do whatever. We had a casual brunch the next day all of our guests that were still in town came to hang out, cookout, and get in the water. There are multiple hotels nearby and everything that you need. We highly recommend Dream Bay Resort to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue.

I was offered to let Zola AI write this review but I so love Dream Bay Resort, I wanted to write it from my heart. This is such a wonderful venue nestled on the shoreline of the Florida Bay in beautiful Key Largo. It's such a unique property that you can have a micro wedding with only 15 people and have a complete blowout with 200. With 3 location options for the ceremony and multiple location options for the reception, you can truly make your wedding your very own. There's plenty of parking, multiple houses to accommodate your guests, and vendors love it because it is such an easy property to setup. The Management team is second to none and will hold your hand and cater to your every need from beginning to end. If Key Largo is your destination then do yourself a favor and check out the beautiful Dream Bay Resort.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at Dream Bay Resort, we were blown away by the warm, friendly, and accommodating staff. They made sure everything was set up and ready to go as soon as we arrived, and they were sweet and excited to see us. The venue itself was truly a dream come true - the most beautiful location with stunning views, gorgeous rooms, and huge houses that had everything and more that we could have wanted for our special day. The quality of their work was absolutely breath-taking, creating a paradise-like atmosphere that felt like a true escape. We are so grateful to the Dream Bay team for helping make our wedding day a complete and utter dream.
