Black House Mountain Campground is a well-maintained 5-acre retreat offering six inviting cabins (5 small, one large) and ten full-hookup RV sites. Nestled in an unbeatable location—the closest campground to Pickett State Forest off-roading trail system, minutes from the Astronomy Field and Pickett CCC Memorial State Park—this campground attracts family events and outdoor enthusiasts seeking OHV riding, hunting, hiking, stargazing, and horseback nature escapes.

Beautiful venu
Black House Mountain Campground was the perfect venue for our wedding. The communication with the staff was very courteous and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The huge outdoor space and ample cabin accommodations provided plenty of room for our guests to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect, helping with every detail. This area is the ideal location for couples who want to incorporate the great outdoors into their wedding celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day.
