About this venue

Bison Hall is a beautiful 6,000 square foot barn-style venue featuring high vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, a moose antler chandelier, and large windows that bring in natural light. Available year-round, rentals include full-day use of the facility, guest admission to enjoy the wildlife sanctuary during your event, tables, chairs, garbage cans, two flat-screen TVs, and a portable speaker and microphone. Bison Hall has a capacity of 170 guests. Your rental also includes access to The Point, a scenic waterfront location with a gazebo and boardwalk, available for up to 60 minutes for photos or a ceremony. Optional wildlife presentations are available, offering guests a unique opportunity to interact with resident animals. As a nonprofit, all proceeds from your event directly support the care and conservation of Alaska’s wildlife. Alaska's Most Unique Venue

The perfect place to host any event from black tie to down home. Bison Hall is a beautiful barn-like building with a high vaulted ceiling that showcases wood beams, a moose antler chandelier, and large windows that allow natural light to flow in. Bison Hall is available for rent throughout the year.

A Bison Hall facility rental includes the use of the building for the entire day, admission into the center for all your guests, tables, chairs, garbage cans, 2 flat screen TV’s, portable speaker and microphone.

Room cost

Winter: $2,500 for 1-75 guests, $4,000 for 76-150 guests. Summer: $3,000 for 1-75 guests, and $4,500 for 76-150 guests

Elopement at The Point

Where the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center meets the waters of Turnagain Arm, one of the most scenic places in Alaska unfolds.

With wood bison and elk on one side and views of the water, mountains, and glaciers all around, AWCC offers a gazebo and boardwalk for family reunions and wedding couples to take breathtaking photos. If you rent Bison Hall then you can use the Point, with gazebo, for no extra charge for a maximum of 60 minutes.

Room cost

Elopements can be booked 30 days in advance. The Point Elopement price is $21.50 per person, in addition to the cost of admission, for up to 20 guests, for a maximum of 60 minutes.
