I’m Shelby, owner + lead planner of The Event Society 🤍 The Event Society is a team of planners who genuinely love weddings, but even more than that, we love getting to know our couples and being part of such a special season in their lives. We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between a wedding that feels elevated and one that feels like you. Our style is the perfect mix of luxury, personality, and fun. We love thoughtful details, unforgettable guest experiences, and finding ways to make each wedding feel personal to the couple behind it.

We’re hands-on, invested, and right there with you through it all - from the big decisions to the little details and everything in between. We bring together the creative and logistical sides of wedding planning. We’re hands-on, detail-obsessed, and always thinking a few steps ahead, while making the process feel personal, collaborative, and fun. We’re here to make planning fun, keep everything organized, and bring it all together so when your wedding day arrives, you can truly be present and enjoy every second. 🤍	For the couple who has already started planning but wants a little extra support bringing everything together! We’ll step in to help with the remaining vendors, design details, logistics, and all those little decisions that start to add up. You’ll still be part of the planning process, but with our team by your side to keep you organized, guide you along the way, and make sure everything comes together beautifully. 🤍	For the couple who loves planning their own wedding but wants to actually enjoy it when the day arrives! While you’ll take the lead on planning, we’re still here along the way to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure you’re on the right track. As your wedding gets closer, we’ll step in to finalize the timeline, logistics, and vendor details, then take it from there so you can be fully present and enjoy every second of your day. 🤍

Favorite Vendor: The Event Society
Working with Shelby and the Event Society team was the best decision we made for our wedding. From our first conversation, they listened to what we wanted and responded quickly to every question and concern we threw their way. They brought our vision to life by finding vendors we loved, managing all the details, and handling everything from scheduling to design touches. The Events Society is the best planner team I’ve worked with in Florida. Shelby and her team bring calm, collaborative energy that makes a wedding day enjoyable for everyone: the couple, their guests, and the vendor team. The planner really can set the tone for the energy of the day, and they show up to every event approachable, calm, in control of the day, while still bringing the fun. What sets them apart is their thoughtfulness, they're always three steps ahead, ready to problem-solve on the fly, whether that means jumping in to capture candid moments when the content creator isn’t nearby or calling local vendors last-minute to swap out table linens that don’t fit the tables. Their eye for design is exceptional; you know the wedding will be beautiful if they’re planning it because no detail will be missed. If you want a planner who's both genuinely fun AND calm to work with and obsessed with getting every detail right, The Event Society is your answer.

I got married on Cape Cod in June, and hiring The Event Society was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. Shelby and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and I honestly believe the day would not have run nearly as smoothly without them. From ensuring everyone was exactly where they needed to be, when they needed to be there, to handling all of the little things behind the scenes, they were my right-hand women throughout the entire day. Their organization, professionalism, and attention to detail allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Ashley's content creation was absolutely incredible. The fact that she was capturing content in real time and created a video before the end of the night was absolutely amazing. Their work ethic is unmatched, and I genuinely could not have imagined a better team to have by my side. If you're looking for a company that will go the extra mile and make your wedding day feel effortless, The Event Society is it and I cannot recommend them enough!
