My name is Xavier Russell and I believe that photography creates a time capsule that allows us to stay connected to friends and family. Whether it is a wedding, engagement celebration, birthday party or sporting event, capturing the right moment is the most exciting part of being a professional photographer. I’m passionate about telling stories through my lens and enjoy working with clients to collaborate on bringing their vision to life.

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure date.
I get in touch with the client either via email, phone or in person to go further with details. I like to have a sense of what he or she is looking for. Communication is key and helps the session to go smoother. Once everything is good to go, client and photographer will sign a contract.
I am member of Professional Photographers of America, a great professional organization that promotes learning and collaboration.
I have always been the guy with eye glasses and a camera and I was always asked to photograph. I ended up getting professional training and devoted myself to starting my own business and it took off from there. I used to work with a fortune 500 company and decided to leave in order to do what I love.
I have worked with many different clients from athletes, doctors, politicians, restaurant owners, Abuela’s, models (child , female male), authors, children, lawyers, large corporations.
I recently took photos of a newborn within hours of being born. This by far was one of the most beautiful moments I have had as a photographer. The session took almost 2 hours because of feeding and diaper changes but it was definitely worth it.
Advice I would give to someone looking to hire a photographer is to check their reviews and if the completed the background check.
