I'm a traveling wedding & elopement photographer based in Kansas City. My roots are in the midwest but I'm often on the move. I strive to photograph those who are madly in love. The non-traditional. Adventurous. Simple at heart. Your story is so worth capturing and being told. I love what I do because I get to document connection and creation all over the world. Small moments, big ones, they all matter to me. I get to be there for all of it and I think that's pretty dang cool. My mission is to make timeless, emotion-filled, storytelling images all for glory of Jesus.

I put my heart and soul into each wedding, elopement, or session that I photograph because without it, anyone could show up and “take pictures.” You want more than just pretty pictures. You want your story documented. No two weddings are the same, so I believe every wedding deserves to be documented with soul - not merely just a person who’s good with a camera.

    Kind, comfortable, and natural

    TJ was my wedding photographer and he was truly perfect. His style is very candid and natural, which is exactly what we were hoping for. He made my husband and I feel so comfortable and confident and captured so many special moments that we didn't even realize he was photographing! He blended in so perfectly and made sure photos were a priority without hindering anyone's experience, including my husband and I's. I am so, so grateful we hired him for our day and will add photos to this review so you can see for yourself just how talented he is! Would recommend for couples in Kansas City and beyond!

    Easy going and captured us in our element

    TJ is the best!

    As a fellow vendor, we can't recommend TJ enough. TJ has shot weddings at our venue many times - he is so easy to work with, he is collaborative with fellow vendors & is full of peace putting everyone around him at ease. Of course we won't fail to mention his imagery is stunning, honest & heartfelt. 10 outta 10 recommend.

    Tj is talented, warm and genuine! Though his pictures speak for themselves, his fun-loving nature makes it an experience rather than checking off a task. He is so generous with his time, never seeming to be in a rush. He cared about our personal story and so obviously worked that into our pictures…it’s what made our wedding pics feel so much like us! Honestly, having a photographer that feels like a friend (& is one!) makes all the difference and we couldn’t recommend him more :) Also, he’s so organized & on top of all the details! That’s worth a lot on a wedding day.

Typically, couples book me about a year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Actually, I’ll probably just slap an Instagram filter on your pics and call it good! Okay I’m KIDDDING. I take editing very seriously. I shoot and edit to bring out how the environment actually looked and felt, so if it’s a bright, warm, and colorful day in Palm Springs, the photos will certainly reflect that. Same goes for a cloudy, chilly, and moody day on the Oregon Coast. I want all of my couples to remember exactly how the day looked and felt. I believe my responsibility is to document your day as it was, steering clear of the current trends at the time.
