Every detail of your story is important to me: I want to know how you met, who proposed, why you chose your venue,... I want to get to know you, so that I can capture your story in a way that feels authentic and unique.     Phenomenal!

    My fiance and I took our engagement photos with Svenja and we absolutely love them. We didn't have a vision or any ideas, so Svenja took care of everything and consulted us along the way. She worked with a planner to organize a dreamy, sailboat day. She knew how important it was for the photos to feel like us and always ensured we felt comfortable. We had such a fun time and it showed through the beautiful photos (which she sent over very promptly). We cannot recommend Svenja enough!

    One happy bride !

    Beyond happy with our decision of having Svenja as our photographer to capture our wedding day! Her attention to detail amazed me with all the special & intimate moments she captured especially the candid ones of our loved ones. Our wedding photos were breathtaking !! We received so many compliments on them. She even went above & beyond anything I’ve ever seen & surprised us with having some of our photos taken during the day displayed on a tablet during our wedding reception as a sneak-peek. Our guest enjoyed viewing them as much as we did! Prior to our wedding day she made sure to check in & was always willing to set up a call to go over the flow of the day of how I envisioned. She created a beautifully organized timeline that made the day less stressful & made sure to help keep me on that schedule to elevate added stress. The surprise packages in the mail before & after our wedding (printed wedding photos & a personable hand written note after) really showed how big of a heart and attention to detail she has! I could go on and on how happy I was with Svenja . I HIGHLY recommend her & will to any future brides ! You get a photographer & coordinator all in one!

    Svenja Saves the Day

    Svenja photographed my wedding and engagement photos. She gave us plenty of time to get to know her and for her to get to know us and what our vision was. She helped me with my itinerary and kept me calm. She even saved the day with clear umbrellas when a heavy rain “tried” to steal the show on my wedding day. She still rocked it and gave us STUNNING photos. She really helped make the day extremely special. Did I forget to mention that the day after our wedding she gave us a few sneak peek photos! The best photographer and the best experience with Svenja! You will not be disappointed.

My couples book me about 6-16 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Yes, I have an assistant whom I bring on wedding days and also work with a team of trusted associate/second photographers.
Yes, I will deliver your full gallery, completely hand edited in my signature style. I will curate your gallery to include only your best images of course, but do not cap at a specific number. Full day wedding clients who chose to have a second photographer usually walk away with 800-1200 images, depending on their day.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season and how long the lab takes with your film. Typically, engagements have a 2-4 week turnaround, while weddings take between 6-10 weeks. I do of course provide sneak peeks within 48-72 hours of your event!
