Telling stories one shot at a time is what drives my passion for photography. I grew up in Virginia surrounded by nature and family, which inspires my love for capturing authentic moments. When I am not behind the camera I am either spending time drinking coffee with my bible, going to the movies with my husband, or doing something with the pets! We have two cats, Mochi & Boba, and a Golden Retriever named Maverick!

A lot of photographers focus only on images, I focus on the experience. I care about helping people feel confident, natural, seen, and celebrated in front of the camera so their photos actually reflect who they are, not stiff poses!

From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, down-to-earth, and easy to work with. My boyfriend does not enjoy taking photos, but Katie made him feel completely comfortable and at ease, making the entire experience feel natural and fun—and that clearly shows in the final images. Her eye for detail, lighting, and emotion is unmatched, and every single photo turned out absolutely stunning. Nothing felt forced or staged; everything felt genuine and true to who we are.

Katie is such an amazing choice for a photographer! She takes every photo shoot and gives it her absolute all! When editing, she is diligent and pays attention to the upmost details to make it the best quality photos! Aside from her work, she is the absolute sweetest person! She is extremely hard working and kind, and is so determined to give couples the best product back! She is very open to what people are looking for, and gets back to you extremely quickly if you reach out to her for a question or concern!! I would highly recommend Katie to anyone! If you're an upcoming bride, need graduation photos or portraits, or just want some cute pictures attached with the most fun experience, Katie is your girl!
