I’m Nicole Lea, a Fort Worth wedding photographer for couples near and far, documenting the start of romantic adventures in Texas and at stunning destination weddings. My number one goal is to make your wedding dreams come true, guiding you through an intentional experience that elicits a bit of whimsy and a lot of love.

People know me as the bubbly and kind photographer. I’m pretty sure this comes from the fun-loving spirit I bring to every wedding. My unique, easy-going method lets the two of you just be you. This results in images that simply radiate love. As for my preferred medium, I use a mix of digital and film photography to curate a romantic collection of images from your wedding. I value relationships, your vision, and capturing even the smallest of details! I'm a Disney and dessert addict, and my two dogs are my best friends!

    Engaging, Talented Visionary

    We very much enjoyed working with Nicole for our wedding celebration. She is extremely sweet and was focused on capturing the magic of our super special day. If it wasn't for Nicole, I would not have known that a First Look was necessary in order to capture portraits in natural light. What a critical detail! Nicole was able to wrangle our three young nephews for family portraits, as well as grab my dog's attention. We look forward to seeing the final photos, but know we will not be disappointed.     WOW!

    Nicole was a DREAM to work with. Her work truly speaks for itself, she is so talented! We will cherish our wedding photos forever! She is also such a kind soul, always made us feel like a priority, and impressed us so much on wedding day with her ability to take charge and efficiently move through portraits! We look forward to trusting her with photographing more of our milestones and calling her a friend!

    Above & Beyond!

    Nicole photographed our rescheduled COVID-friendly wedding in August of 2020, and I am so thankful I stumbled across her on Instagram. She was very prompt in replying to my inquiry, very reasonable when it comes to her rates and flexible against the backdrop of a fast turnaround time and changing variables given the pandemic. On the day of the wedding, she showed up on time, was efficient and quick, and had it together. Because of our change in plans and small guest count, I didn't hire a day-of coordinator but Nicole didn't need anyone else to keep us in line/on time! It was also a breezy 110 degrees, which made our family portraits post-ceremony nearly unbearable but she got them all done in about 15 minutes and they look AMAZING. It did take the full six weeks to get our gallery back, but was totally worth the wait. Our memories are forever captured, and I'm so appreciative of Nicole's presence and attitude on our big day. Hire her! You won't regret it.

No, I do not. I eliminate test shots, missed focus shots, images with closed eyes, bad facial expressions, etc. Because there are so many important moments during a wedding day, I may shoot rapidly to guarantee that the best emotions are captured! This sometimes leads to slightly blurry or out-of-focus images, so I spend the necessary time on my end to provide the best images to you.
Yes, I offer a 5% discount if you choose to pay-in-full.
Though I have been to many venues in the DFW area, I may not have been to yours! However, I tour every venue before your wedding date to ensure that I am well prepared to capture your day perfectly.
No! I believe that every session and wedding is unique, so I don't set a limit to the number of images I deliver.
I do not. My specialty is in photography, but I have a few fantastic videographers I can recommend to you!
Absolutely! While Nicole Lea Photography is based out of Fort Worth, Texas, I happily serve couples all over the world. My camera and passport are ready to travel!
Yes. If you are interested in partial wedding day coverage, we can build a custom wedding collection that best suits your needs.
Of course! With the permission of my real wedding couples, I can provide a full wedding day gallery for you to see. In fact, I encourage you to ask! I am proud of the attention to detail and full-hearted service I provide my couples from start to finish.
I have photographed low-light ceremonies and receptions before, so no need to worry! If allowed, I set up additional off-camera lighting to make sure I get properly lit and focused images. If not allowed, I shoot with a camera and lenses with great low-light performance.
Yes! A major part of my style is creating beautiful light, airy, and timeless images. I edit all of the images to consistently match my style.
I offer 30 minutes of complimentary additional retouching, then if more retouching is needed, it is billable by the hour.
This is such an important question! Every couple is unique with their needs, which is why I offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your wedding day vision. There we will get to know each other better and talk about what plans you have for your special day. (As a quick hint, however, the average amount of wedding day coverage is 8 hours!)
My delivery time for portrait sessions is 2-4 weeks.
My delivery time for weddings is 6-8 weeks.
I deliver galleries through Pixieset, a beautiful online platform that allows you to view and download all of your images.
Yes, you do. You may print your images with best quality up to an 8x10. Anything larger than that I highly recommend using a professional lab (which I can also help with)!
No. Digital rights belong solely to Nicole Lea Photography. Selling or profiting from your images is prohibited without the written consent from Nicole Lea Photography.
I do not deliver RAW images for many reasons. First, because Nicole Lea Photography owns the digital right to all images, and delivering a RAW risks giving up that right. Second, because a RAW image is an unprocessed file, not an image that has been unedited. A RAW image can not be read without certain software. Third, I shoot with the finished product in mind, which requires my processing method.
I highly suggest that you backup your galleries to at least 2 sources, whether that be with a Cloud, USB, or hard drive. If you lose your images after I have archived your gallery, it is an additional fee to redeliver your gallery.
I backup every gallery on two different hard drives and Dropbox. I also archive your gallery on Pixieset, ensuring that should you and I lose access to the images, they are backed up in multiple ways.
