Hello and welcome to my site! I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in West Michigan. In 2002, I graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design with a BFA, major in Illustration. Although I love drawing and painting, my love of photography has not left me since my college days, so in 2011 I decided to focus on photography.

I believe photography should be as pure as possible, capturing true expression and personality and using natural-light and complimentary backgrounds. I want you to look back on your wedding photos someday and see the real moments, the people who love you and support you, and I want to capture your true emotions. I would LOVE to be your photographer. I truly care about my clients and their story. I enjoy meeting new people and families, visiting beautiful places, and creating images that I’m proud of. Your life is important and I hope to meet you in the near future.

All I can say is, wow. She literally went above and beyond any expectations I had. I'm also a photographer so I was nervous that the photos wouldn't be what we wanted but they are exactly how I pictured and more! Couldn't have had a better photographer for my and my best friend's wedding. Thank you, Meg!!! :)

Meg Van Kampen Studios, LLC was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Meg was friendly, prompt, and incredibly professional. Her communication style was sweet and put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of her work is absolutely beautiful - her artistic and flowy style captured all the special moments of our day in such a unique and meaningful way. Meg was such a sweet soul and so patient with our crazy wedding party. We are so grateful to her for everything and for being so easy going and such a joy to have with us on our special day.
