MDKauffmann Photography is a Certified Professional Photographer serving clients in the Metro St. Louis area and worldwide. I've been perfecting the art and craft of wedding photography and fine art portraits for over 20 years, and have been published in magazines around the world. From the simplest elopement to the most extravagant wedding, people commission me because I make the experience fun. I am for discerning clients that want timeless, artistic photographs of their day, but want to have fun doing it and want me to move efficiently...and then get them results quickly. I am heavy on pre-planning and making sure that we have an exact plan to get through the day efficiently. I create heirlooms you will treasure for the rest of your life, but I make sure the process isn't tedious.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos as soon as the next day.
Sometimes I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
You can expect about 60-80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. I always prefer quality to quantity, so I will always err on the side of producing fewer quality images to throwing you many that are just "meh"
In my 25+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
