I am a hometown girl who had a dream. I wanted a job where I was able to use my creativity and develop something deeper while being able to stay home with my kids more. Boom, here I am. The passion I have for this job is insane. I take it very personal, I am obsessed with what I do and I only take on a few weddings a month to give my clients my everything.

I am a people person. Yes, I am good with my camera, I know lighting and golden hour, I know how to pose, but what really sets me apart is I am great communicator. I love people, I love talking and listening. Like I always say, my clients become like family to me. I am very hands on with posing and offer prompts throughout sessions and weddings to help clients feel comfortable. What a dream job this is. Each client is different and I walk into each wedding with a vision to tell their story and love on their biggest day. Please keep in mind, I only take on 2 weddings a month in order to give my clients all of me!

    Must Book this photographer!

    Malinda Sloan Photography was amazing to work with for our wedding. Their communication was prompt and so lovely throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was incredible - they captured the most beautiful photographs that exceeded our expectations. Melinda took what I told her I would like and made it into photographs I could not have dreamed of. She truly captured everything so perfectly from start to end. Melinda is such a gem of a person and photographer. You can feel her passion for what she does, and she was a joy to work with on our special day. We love every single photo she took and she made sure I had exactly what I needed, going above and beyond to make our day so special.

    Best photographer for my engagement shoot/wedding

    Malinda Sloan Photography was super easy to communicate with, always responding promptly to our questions and requests. The quality of their work and value was exceptional - we loved all the engagement and wedding pictures they took, and the color editing was absolutely beautiful. Malinda was on time, ready to go, and very understanding when we had a few minor schedule changes on the day. She was amazing to work with and we would love to work with Malinda again anytime!

I send sneaks within 3 days. It takes me 5 to 9 weeks to edit a full wedding. Full galleries will be sent to your email to download. Engagement sessions it takes me 3 weeks to edit.
I offer content creation as an add on package. I also have videographer recommendations if you want to hire a videgorgapehr for the day.
I have several second shooters I love to work with. This can be added on to any package. I highly recommend a second shooter to get all those different angles .
Typically, couples book me about 1 year out. I only take on 2 weddings a month so booking me in advance ensures that I will be available.
I have never had to yet, life happens and I always have a backup plan. I am part of a large community of local photographers and I have a specific list of photographers that I adore. If I am unable to perform that day, I will have an associate photographer capture your wedding, but I will be the one to edit the entire gallery to match my full style.
