Hi, I'm Mak! I have had a camera in my hands since I was a kid, and I started this business as a way to maintain a creative outlet during college and it has grown with me since. I am a special education teacher by day, loving every moment working with kids of all abilities, lending me a great set of skills to carry over.
My goal on a wedding day is to blend into the wedding party the best I possibly can. I will always make everyone feel as comfortable as I can, making photos feel effortless and like I am just a friend documenting the day. One of the best parts of this industry is getting to make memories and friendships with clients along the way.

Makenzie is the best. I’ve hired her for our engagement photos, wedding photos, and even professional headshots for my job. All communication was clear and timely. Makenzie’s photography contract also made complete sense setting expectations, hours, and pay. I also obviously love her work with the final products! These photos are gorgeous. Nothing distracting in them, the lighting is beautiful, and the colors are so pretty!
