Hi, I’m Maiara, but you can call me Mai! I'm a wedding photographer based in Oahu, Hawaii, passionate about capturing love stories in beautiful locations. My style combines the natural beauty around me with authentic, candid moments, creating timeless images. Originally from Brazil, I speak English, Portuguese, and some Spanish, and I’m here to tell your unique love story. I serve clients in Oahu, Southern California, and worldwide for destination weddings. My goal is to capture special moments while ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present in every shot.

    Amazing in Everyway

    Mai has been the best decision I have made when finding a wedding photographer! She brilliant, professional, talented and just an amazing person. She’s took our engagement and wedding photos.     Pictures with love and soul

    I don't have words to thank her for the things she did for us. I appreciated every click, every moment. She helped me with absolutely everything before and during my elopement. Even when we were in completely different zones. She understood exactly how my husband and I wanted our memories to be told and eternalized. She will always gonna be in our best memory!

Sometimes I bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size and complexity of your wedding. If your package includes a second photographer, there’s no additional cost for this. For weddings with a full standard timeline—such as pre-bridal preparations, first look, and all the must-have moments—I usually have a second photographer with me to ensure every detail is beautifully captured.
No, I focus exclusively on photography to ensure you get the best wedding pictures possible. However, I have amazing videography professionals I can refer to you, so you’ll have the best team for your big day!
In my years as a wedding photographer, I’ve never had to cancel a booking. However, in the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll ensure you’re covered by one of my trusted associates who shares my style and approach.
I recommend booking your photographer at least 6 months in advance to ensure availability, though some couples book as early as 12 months before their wedding day. While I occasionally have openings for short-notice bookings, many months are busier than others, so it’s best to reach out as soon as possible to check my availability.
