Lydia Charles Photography

My name is Lydia and I’m originally from Quebec, Canada. I fell in love with photography when I was in High School and would even skip class to spend time in the dark room. After studying photography in college I took time to travel and find my other passions. But it's after visiting Detroit and meeting my husband that I finally settled and started my biggest adventure. I came to enjoy wedding and lifestyle photography very naturally, as the gathering of family and friends, good food and good wine, are the things I care most deeply about in life.

I will make myself available every step of the way leading to your wedding day, as I understand how precious and rare it is to have the whole family together. I treat every wedding and event as though it was my own. I am looking to help in whatever way I can. Sometimes that means setting the camera down to help with a center piece, holding the wedding train or helping grandpa up the stairs. I’m devoted to my family and friends and I’ll devote myself to yours.
