Hello babes! I’m Laura (she/her/hers) and I’ve fallen in love with meeting down to earth couples who share an intense bond. I’m currently based in Southern California but am always open to travel! I’m ready to pack my bags and be your number one third wheel.

I am so overwhelmed with joy to be writing this honest review because I cannot recommend Laura enough. From our first interaction, I felt like we were long time friends and every conversation felt like a warm hug. We knew that we would feel awkward taking photos and needed someone we would feel comfortable with. We also wanted a photographer who would capture those candid emotions from our big day. We instantly connected with Laura and knew she was the perfect fit. From first contact to our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Laura was our favorite vendor to work with throughout our wedding planning experience. Every meeting somehow ended with belly laughter like the therapy we needed from the stress of wedding planning! She knew how to put us as ease when we were in front of the camera yet still stayed professional. Laura’s photography style is genuine, moody, romantic. We are just so in love with how our photos turned out. We also wanted to have photos with our fur baby and she knew exactly how to best handle and capture her. Going through our wedding gallery brought back so many of our favorite memories, some we honestly forgot. She delivered on exactly what we were looking for. We cannot recommend Laura enough!

It was so much joy and pleasure to work with Laura for our engagement photoshoot and for our wedding day. Laura immediately put us at ease with her bubbly, friendly demeanor. Her directions for different poses were easy to follow, and her enthusiasm and excited reaction after taking a picture was infectious and engaging. She has a keen eye for picturesque backdrops and an awareness of how the lighting affects the mood of the photograph. We loved looking at the pictures she took for both occasions, especially how she captured our expressions and emotions in the moment. We felt very comfortable being affectionate in front of the camera, and she made it so much fun to take pictures in a variety of settings. She drove with us to different locations for our engagement photoshoot, and was very professional and supportive on our wedding day. We hope to work with her again to capture more of our memories in the future.

Laura was wonderful. Before booking, she took the time to get to know us, learn more about our wedding, and what our vision was. (She even helped fill some gaps in our day that we didn't even think about). After booking, her communication was outstanding, not only with her consistent follow ups, but she was able to really vibe with us. Day of, we felt really comfortable with her taking our photos. Our guests commented on how professional, friendly, and helpful she was. At the end of the experience, it felt like a friend was taking our photos and not someone we just met on Zola. The photos came out great and captured exactly who my wife and I are.
