About Kindwave Photography

Abbey ~ Florida Elopement Photographer

Hi Friends! My name is Abbey, and I'm a born-and-raised Floridian dedicated to helping you create an elopement experience where you can be fully present with each other and truly enjoy the moment. As a gal who wants to elope herself and has worked in both the traditional wedding industry and elopement world, I've learned that the most memorable days aren't about perfection, they're about connection. So, if you're ready to work with someone who genuinely gets it, will happily send you way too many cat pictures, and is always down for an impromptu sweet treat run, I think we'll make a pretty great team. XOXO, Abbey đź’Ś

In addition to stunning, true-to-color elopement photography, I help you with all the "weird stuff" of eloping! From guidance on eloping legally, to navigating permits, to local recommendations, and custom elopement timelines, you can feel confident about your elopement in Florida.

    Awesome service!

I wish I could give a million stars! We had such an amazing experience. It was my husband and my first photoshoot, and Abbey made the entire process so smooth and professional. I told her the vibe we were looking for, and she absolutely nailed it! She even helped us choose our venue. I highly recommend her. You can truly tell she loves what she does. She also sent us sneak peeks in less than 24 hours, and they are absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see the rest! Thank you so much, Abbey, for capturing such a special day for us!

Had a great shoot with Abbey! Lots of fun and high energy, she was quick to get back a few photos from our shoot within a day or 2 and the results are fantastic. Can’t wait to see the rest of the set!

Abbey is the best photographer my fiancé and I have ever worked with. She is very professional and she makes your vision come to life. The pictures always turn out amazing and we couldn’t be happier. We will always call her when we need professional pictures!

I typically deliver around 50 photos per hour of coverage, depending on how the day flows. That gives you a curated gallery that tells the full story without overwhelming you with duplicates. Every image is carefully edited so you get a consistent, intentional collection of your day.
Absolutely! I specialize in elopements up to 15 people. Keep in mind, the more people you have attend your elopement, the more difficult it can be to plan everything to a more personalized timeline. I reccomend 12 hour coverage for couples who want to include guests, so we can build in time for just the two of you.
When we work together, I'll help you choose a location that feels special and fits your vision. As a FL native, I know the best hidden spots that photograph beautifully, yet feel private and intentional. I also help you build a relaxed timeline with activities that feel meaningful to you, so the day feels like an experience, not just a ceremony.
In many public spaces in Florida, a permit is often required for elopements, and it varies depending on the location. I help you sort the "weird stuff" out, and if you’re working with a shorter timeline, I can point you toward gorgeous permit-free spots so you can skip the red tape and keep things stress-free!
The best time to elope in Florida is typically late fall through early spring, around October to April, when the weather is cooler and less humid. Summer is great, but it can be hotter, humid, and prone to afternoon storms. Florida is beautiful year-round, but it's good to keep in mind!
Florida is beautiful year-round, but hurricane season runs June through November and summer afternoons can bring quick rain showers. I always build a Plan B for rain into every elopement, so you’re covered no matter what the weather does, always personalized to you so the day still feels intentional and fun.
