I'm Kay, as my friends call me. I love the color green, feel at peace when I am by the ocean and will never say no to an iced coffee. I am a destination wedding photographer and serve my clients primarily in the Midwest & SouthEast. I strive to authentically preserve your moments through film and digital photography.

I pride myself on being a professional photographer who is communicative, flexible, creative, and easy going. I commit to truly listen to your needs and honor your wishes to the very best of my ability. I find beauty in imperfection and also, with a keen eye for detail, have perfected my craft to capture the smallest elements and most romantic moments.     Loved working with Kay!

    Kay was awesome to work with! The photo schedule for the day was super organized and we were able to get all of the moments captured. I love that we got to do film photos too since those are always my favorite! The sneak peek we got was great, so I am really excited to see the full library of photos.

    Above and beyond!

    We used Kay for our elopement-style wedding and she was truly an amazing addition to the day! She went above and beyond for us to make sure we would be able to get all of the photos we wanted!! She was amazing at communicating before the wedding and making sure everything would go smoothly day of, including going to the wedding spot with us to make sure the lighting would be good and to pinpoint all of the stops that would be perfect for photo ops. She also made sure we were comfortable in all shots, which was really important to us. She made the day a lot less stressful and we couldn’t be more happy with her professionalism!! Plus, the photos are really amazing, but I’ll let those speak for themselves!!

Each package includes an engagement session and a second photographer on your wedding day to ensure every moment is covered. All packages can be customized to fit your specific needs. I shoot digital and film. With film, it allows me to capture moments in a timeless way. I have a passion for true-to-life colors and strive to reflect the genuine essence of your wedding day. My goal is to document not just the events but also the emotions and stories behind them, creating a vivid and authentic representation of your special day. It’s a mix of classic, timeless and documentary style.
You can typically expect around 800-1000 images, though this may vary depending on the events of your wedding day. I aim for a turnaround time of about six weeks to ensure each photo is thoughtfully edited and presented beautifully. Film turn around times can vary depending on busy season of the film lab.
In the EXTREMELY unlikely event that I can't make it, I always have a solid backup plan in place. My second shooter steps in to ensure that your day is fully covered, or I arrange for a trusted colleague to take over. I want to assure you that I will never leave you without a photographer. The only circumstance that would prevent me from being there would be an act of God. Additionally, I always have backup photo gear on hand & carry liability insurance, demonstrating my commitment to professionalism & preparedness. I believe in being responsible & coming equipped with a plan to ensure your special day is beautifully captured, no matter what.
Yes, you have full print rights to your images and can download them as many times as you like for no additional fees. Additionally, you can purchase prints directly through your gallery page for your convenience. If you're interested in preserving your memories in a beautiful heirloom album, I also offer album options.
I start any inquiries with a client call. It’s a wonderful chance for us to connect, answer any questions, and get to know you as a couple. I want to ensure we’re a great fit and walk you through what to expect. If you’re excited to move forward, we’ll secure your date with a 30% deposit and a signed contract. I’m here to support you every step of the way, making sure your experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible!
