All couples will spend a good majority of their wedding (and best day of their life!) with their photographer, so it's important to work with someone you are comfortable around, enjoy spending time with, and can trust capturing your timeless images... & my goal is to meet all those requirements! I went to school for photography & I've been a full-time photographer for 13 years now with a perfect track record of happy couples. My approach is relaxed and fun (but always professional) with a mix of talent and a creative eye.

I base my business off of what I would expect and want from a wedding photographer. I treat you how I'd like to be treated such a special and unique time... Engagement and wedding photos are something you only get to do once, so I try to make these experiences as magical as possible :). Every set of clients is different... I don't stick any couple in one style box! I am much more creative when I'm given a challenge. Therefore, I work closely with each couple to really understand what kind of photography they are looking for. We then plan together both their engagement session and wedding photography to ensure they will love their photos.

    Infectious Energy

    We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Katelyn! From the very beginning, her energy has been absolutely contagious - she brings such a positive, fun vibe that instantly puts everyone at ease. For our wedding, we came to her with a pretty extensive list of photos we wanted, she created a thoughtful, organized plan to make sure everything runs smoothly. That level of care and attention to detail meant so much to us and took a huge weight off our shoulders. When we had a last minute family snag, she adapted and flexed that wonderfully organized plan to accommodate on the fly. It’s so clear how much passion she puts into her work. Typically, couples book out around the 10-12 month mark, but sometimes I get a booking 6 months out from their date, and some times 28 months out from their date! It really just depends. So wherever you fall on that scale, reach out! I'd love to hear from you and get you more info if I am available :).
Yes! A very talented assistant photographer is included in the Complete Package price (https://katelynturner.com/2021-complete-package), but you'll see you can also take them out of the package for a deduction of -$650 off your package price. I'm very comfortable capturing weddings solo, but as assistant does mean different perspectives and TON more photos!
katelynturner.com/before-and-after THIS IS SO IMPORTANT WHEN COMPARING PHOTOGRAPHERS! All delivery high resolution images will be color corrected & lightly airbrushed/retouched. Every. Single. ONE. I went to school for graphic design as well as photography. I'm a Photoshop extraordinaire & this is a huge security blanket when it comes to your wedding images. 9 times out of 10 I can fix anything!
I do not, but I do give all booked clients a recommended vendor list full of professionals I know and love working with, and most of all, treat my clients amazing and do fantastic work!
Typically you’ll be able to view your photos online about 8 weeks after your wedding. Once your full wedding gallery is live, you'll be able to download all of your high-resolution images from your personal online gallery immediately! You'll have a custom link to share your gallery with family/friends, and professional print orders can be made here too! https://katelynturner.shootproof.com/
With one photographer, you'll receive a minimum of 700 edited high resolution images. If you keep the assistant in the package, that usually jumps up to 900-1200. These estimates vary depending on your travel time between locations, number of guests, and other factors :)
100%!! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them :)
In 13 years, I’ve never had this happen! However, I know wedding days won't stop for me should an emergency come up. If it's very short notice, my assistant will capture your day (if you've kept them in your package). If it's a while till the big day, I’ll make sure to refund you for services not rendered & send you a referral list so you can find the perfect replacement.
