At 17, I developed an interest in capturing images while traveling in Europe and the Middle East. So for my 18th birthday, my parents sent me an Olympus digital camera and I began to teach myself how to capture real-life beauty into photographs. Later, I studied studio and photo processing with the talented photographer, Jelani Memory, in Portland. My hobby turned career led me all over the world. My photographs have been published in Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue. And I am proud to say I was recently voted as Alaska's Best Photographer four years in a row. I specialize in wedding, editorial, portrait, fashion, and fine art photography.

The thing that sets us apart is that we not only photograph your day, but we help you with your wedding timeline to get the most efficient schedule so no part of your big day is wasted. During the day we help with everything we can. Need a drink, we will run and get you one. Same with food. A lot of things can get overlooked during your day and we will make sure you get everything you need!

    5 stars isn’t enough!! Joshua and his second shooter Kelcy are fabulous and I love them! Cannot recommend them enough. They went above and beyond the entire day to make sure everyone had the best time. They pretty much took on a dual role as photographers and coordinators, down to making sure my guests had drinks and anything else anyone needed. Kelcy saved the day by offering up her own makeup when my makeup artist left before covering my tattoo. They captured the most beautiful photos of the day and I haven’t even seen them all yet, just the sneak peak. My husband and I not people who have ever been comfortable in front of a camera, but they gave the best direction and made the experience so fun we completely forgot to be nervous or uncomfortable! The entire process from booking and signing to planning and the day of was so easy and fun! Joshua and Brittany were in constant communication with me and really cared about every single detail during the planning process. Everything was absolute perfection! I’m already brainstorming more ideas for fun photo shoots just so I can book them again! I’m absolutely thrilled with our experience, could not have asked for better. I’d give 1000 stars if I could!

Here in Alaska weather can be very unpredictable; it could rain or snow, only to be followed by beautiful blue skies all in one day. I do not give deposit refunds if you decide to cancel because of weather. Of course, there are some exceptions.
When you schedule a session with me, I am turning away other work, and I set aside time in my schedule specifically for you. As a result, I have to charge a fee when you choose to cancel or do not show up (this does not apply to weather related rescheduling).
1 day: $50 cancelation fee, No show: $100 no show fee
Your online gallery will be delivered to your email within four weeks of your photo session.
