Kayla, I’m truly sorry to hear you felt disappointed with your bouquet experience. I also want to provide a bit of context, as I take pride in ensuring my couples receive fresh, high-quality flowers. When you first picked up your bouquet, you expressed a concern about one flower bud tucked in the center. You brought it back, and I happily adjusted it for you. You were very thankful at the time and left pleased with your bouquet. Because of the summer heat, I advised against leaving your flowers in the car and suggested keeping them at the wholesaler in their cooler until you were ready to head to Seward. My team and I personally checked the bouquet twice before you left, and it was in excellent condition. From what I saw later on your photographer’s posts, your bouquet looked beautiful throughout your adventure elopement — hiking, canoeing, and all other activities. I understand that flowers are delicate, especially when exposed to extended heat and travel. I do my best to guide couples on how to care for them in these circumstances, but once they leave my hands, their longevity can be impacted by environment and handling. I also want to clarify that your bouquet and boutonniere were provided at my standard elopement rate of $450, as stated on my website, not $700 as mentioned in your review. Additionally, the flowers shown in the photos you attached were not dead — they were healthy, fresh blooms intentionally selected to add texture and depth to your bouquet’s design, which is evident in the photos included in this review. These flowers were hand-selected specifically for your elopement, as I pride myself on creating work that is intentional and unique for each couple. Your wedding day is incredibly important, and I am always striving to ensure each couple receives the best possible experience with their flowers.
