My name is Jason Burns. I’m a photographer specializing in weddings and elopements based out of Southern California. I've always had a love of the arts and have taken every opportunity to participate in them, discovering photography in college. Growing up in the pacific northwest, being surrounded by such all that nature and beautiful landscapes I feel has always inspired me in my photography. I feel grateful every day that I can call this my career.

My photography style is candid, romantic, photo-journalistic, true to life, and a little fun. I feel I have a very laid-back personality and I pride myself on making your day as relaxed and easy-going as possible and most importantly that you enjoy your time spent with me, you have fun, and that you love your photos.

    Jason is the best of the best!

    My wedding planning company has hired Jason many times and he's always professional and a calm presence at our events! I also appreciate Jason's clear planning communication and flexibility. Even during our 2020 events, we were able to work out postponements and multiple re-scheduled celebrations. I love Jason's photography skills and relaxed, yet refined shooting style. I have been a photographer since 2008. In this time I have had the pleasure of photographing over 300-hundred weddings. For all of these weddings, I am the principal photographer.
For an engagement and elopements, images are normally ready in 2-3 weeks, and for wedding images typically ready in 4-6 weeks.
Once you contact me we will set up a meeting via Skype, Zoom, or just a phone call, and if you decide that you want me to photograph your day all I require is a retainer and a signed contract. All this is done online. Then you are done and it's one more thing to check off your wedding list.
No. I just do photography. But I would be happy to refer some great videographers to you that I work with all the time.
Absolutely! I'm located in Orange County in Southern California. I love to travel and I'm willing and ready to travel for any wedding or elopement. It's one of my favorite things I get to do with photography.
This is a good question. You will typically receive approximately 80 to 100 images an hour. The second photographer option increases the coverage and the total number of images an hour. The overall number of images may be affected by the events of the day, if everything is running according to plan you could end up with a lot more.
