Hi, I’m Jared Sislin, an Orange County based wedding photographer. I started photography at 14, shooting surf and wave photos, and photographed my first wedding at 16. I am now 29 and I’ve now captured hundreds of weddings and studied photography through high school and at Orange Coast College, earning scholarships and awards along the way. My work has been featured in print, online publications, galleries, and on TLC’s I Want THAT Wedding. Today, I bring a creative, storytelling approach to weddings, focusing on candid moments with an editorial feel. I’d be honored to photograph your wedding!

I truly love what I do, and I enjoy building real connections with my couples! By the end of the day, it often feels more like photographing friends than clients. Every time I shoot a Wedding, I look for unique ways to incorporate the setting, atmosphere, and surroundings to tell a complete story that feels authentic to your big day!

    Wedding Photography

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Jared and his second photographer, Dan! From our engagement session to our wedding day, they were an absolute dream to work with. Our engagement photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and although we haven’t received our full wedding gallery yet, we already know it’s going to be incredible based on everything we experienced. Throughout the day, Jared and Dan made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and gave us easy, natural direction for posing, which made the whole experience fun instead of stressful. What really impressed us was their attention to detail. They were always in the right place at the right time, making sure none of the special moments were missed. Wedding days rarely go exactly as planned, and we had to make a few changes to our timeline, but they were incredibly flexible, adaptable, and always ready to keep things moving without adding any stress. Beyond being incredibly talented photographers, Jared and Dan are genuinely wonderful people who care deeply about their couples and capturing every meaningful moment. We are so grateful they were part of our wedding day and cannot recommend Jared enough. If you’re looking for a photographer who is professional, personable, and truly passionate about what he does, with an outstanding second photographer by his side, Jared is the best choice!

    Great wedding photographer is South OC!

    We worked with Jared for our engagement and wedding photos, and we loved working with him so much we now also use him for our family photography as well! He is an outstanding photographer with a keen creative eye and attention to detail, as well as a great person. He was professional, calm, flexible and extremely helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy with the shots he was taking.
