We're a married (to each other) pair of photographers in Portland, Maine - Will and Lucia are our names. We've been shooting weddings together for almost 20 years, and we've got a showroom where you can browse dozens of albums, or an online gallery of hundreds of weddings. Will's images have stronger direction and more impactful lighting, and Lucia's images are softer in feeling and capture candid moments. Having both of us at your wedding is truly getting two different photography styles - the best of both worlds.

Clients say our images have a natural feel that is more realistic than colorized, ethereal, or dark & moody styles. Our attention to lighting while we're shooting creates portraits that don't require over-processing by software, so your images will look life-like, and not fake. All our wedding clients get a photo-timeline beforehand, so you'll know when every shot will be taken, and have a relaxed wedding day where everything is planned out.

    We chose Focus Photography because of their amazing pictures and personalities, but we LOVED them because they got us to our cocktail hour before the apps were gone! Will and Lucia made a timeline for us that gave us everything we wanted, told us where everyone should be, and when all the pictures would be done. All our pictures were done before the ceremony! We didn’t have to worry that we’d be late for anything, that we’d run out of time, or that we wouldn’t get the images we wanted. We were able to fully be at our wedding without any worries, and they took care of everything!

    For us, the photographs were the most important part of our wedding! We could not have been happier to work with Will and Lucia at Focus Photography. I knew that with the two of them on our side, our photographs would be stunning, and they are! Our wedding at the Dunegrass was amazing, but I'd never remember half of it if it weren't for the beautiful wedding album sitting in our living room!

    Will and Lucia photographed my family growing up, so when I got engaged and was having a wedding 1000 miles away from Maine in Ohio, I knew I wanted them there and I am so glad I did. We met several times before the day of, so on the wedding day things went so smoothly and I wasn’t asked 1000 questions. They are very hands on, do the work, think of the poses so you don’t have to which I loved! One less thing to think about on an already insane day. They care SO much about your photos and will go lengths to get you the best shots. I was also so happy with how quickly they got me my photos back! I will also add- they are the most energetic and happy people and will keep the vibes of your wedding so fun but so professional! I recommend them so much for your wedding!

    Caitlin, we can't thank you enough for such kind words. You probably don't know this, but the first print in our studio is a 36" acrylic art-piece of your sparkler send off!
