I'm an award winning photojournalist by trade who's been shooting weddings in my spare time for the last decade. I'll bring a calm and steadying presence to your wedding day, making sure your day goes smoothly and letting you focus on celebrating your partnership with those you love most. I'm based in Santa Fe but happy to travel wherever you need me to. If my packages don't exactly fit your needs, reach out and we can make something custom just for you.

At heart, I live for moments that feel truly authentic and connected, and I want every couple I photograph to feel like they can really be in love in front of my camera. My goal is to have you look back at these photos in a decade and really feel the joy of your wedding day come right back. I have a keen eye for just the right moment, the right expression, and the right pose that just feel natural. I've trained this for years as a photojournalist, and it lets me make real pictures while you forget you even have a camera near you. Not to say I don't have the enthusiasm to get your whole family's attention for group photos when I need to.

    It was wonderful to have Evan as a part of our wedding day. He was warm and respectful with everyone, gently engaging them to get the best images.     Hiring Evan for our engagement photo shoot was one of the easiest decisions my fiancé and I made in our wedding planning journey. Right from the start, Evan made every step simple, fun, understandable. We decided to have our photos taken in Galisteo Basin because it is extremely beautiful and has a lot of sentimental value to the both of us, and Evan captured that emotion in an extraordinary way. I also am not one who particularly enjoys having their photo taken, but he coached us (me) with great patience and grace the entire time. If you are looking for a wedding/event photographer in the Santa Fe area, I strongly recommend booking Evan, you will not regret it.

    Evan was super easy to work with! His communication was always friendly, responsive, and professional. He blended in seamlessly with our guests throughout the weekend and we felt totally comfortable with him at all the intimate moments (getting dressed with family and friends, our “first look,” family photos, etcetera). We’re especially grateful for of all of Evan’s amazing candid shots. We’re lucky we had him at our wedding!
