I created Emily Novara Photography, LLC because I believe that capturing the best day of your life deserves the same attention to detail that you put into planning it. I love meeting my couples, hearing all about their love stories, getting to know them - like truly getting to know them (most of my brides consider me one of their friends!). My brides trust I understand their vision and are able to enjoy their wedding day because of the communication leading up to it.

I believe in true love, in taking chances, and every love story is unique. I also love veil parties!! I’m here to capture your love story so you can share your wedding photos with your family for generations to come. That’s why I created The #NovaraBride Experience -a luxury engagement & wedding photography experience centered around and tailored specifically to each of my couples. I’ll let you know what to do with your hands, capture the candid moments, and ultimately become your photographer friend.     Wedding Photographer

    Emily Novara Photography was a fantastic choice for our wedding day.     INCREDIBLE

    Emily is absolutely AMAZING to work with! She captured our engagement and wedding photos more perfectly than we ever imagined. She is prompt, has excellent communication, is prepared for absolutely anything, and just a joy to work with. Emily went the extra mile at every step of the process and we are SO glad she was our photographer. Cannot recommend her enough to any other couples - everyone in our wedding party kept talking about how incredible she was (and that was before they even saw her amazing photos)!

    AMAZING! Look no where else!

    Emily is seriously amazing! We had an instant connection of trust and I knew our photos would be perfect. She was there for me through my entire planning process and helped guide me on any changes we needed. For our engagement photos, it was pouring rain and she had a backup plan asap. She makes the photos feel natural and nothing forced. For our wedding day, it rained yet again and Emily took charge of our wedding day. She creates a timeline for you. She was like my day of coordinator too! She came prepared with everything and anything you need. She made sure the day flowed as smooth as possible. Our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was, without her! We love Emily!!

    Captured our day perfectly

    Emily was amazing from start to finish. We were able to get to know her during our engagement session, she helped us build our day of timeline so we could make sure to capture all of our special moments, she worked with our large wedding party and our crazy dog, and made sure to get all of the candid photos and the posed photos and everything in between. We had so many people in our families and wedding party tell us that this was the easiest time they’ve ever had taking pictures at a wedding. I’d recommend her to anyone if you want to have a stress free experience and beautiful photos.

    Book Emily!!

    Emily Novara Photography provided excellent communication through the entire engagement, wedding planning, and day-of process. Emily even provided a detailed day-of itinerary and revised it as needed as we got closer to the wedding. The quality of their work and overall experience was amazing. Emily is so friendly and we felt so comfortable from the minute we met her. She did an incredible job on the wedding day, arriving early and not only taking amazing photographs and poses, but also keeping us organized and on track the entire day, which was crucial with a party of 20 adults. Emily went above and beyond in every aspect of being our photographer for the wedding day, and I can't picture our wedding day without her. We look forward to having her as our go-to photographer for any future events!

You can expect a minimum of 30 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. For 8 hours of wedding day coverage, you will receive at least 240 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I want you to love every image you see just as much as the last, and only include images in your gallery that I absolutely love.
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day and get you and your fiancé comfortable in front of the camera. I love finding out what details are important to you and capturing each piece that makes your wedding day uniquely yours. I want to capture the feelings, the emotions. My absolute favorite images from weddings are the first looks, the tiny details, the cake cutting, and the outtakes. Most of all, I love to capture genuine emotion. Your day is full of so many intricate pieces and I want to capture every single moment so you can relive your wedding day and share your photos for generations to come.
My typical style is bright and natural, so you'll get those true-to life colors in your images! I LOVE the timeless look that is wedding photography. I will capture a variety of coached and candid photos throughout your day and make sure your wedding gallery has #allthemoments that are important to you!
I am located in St. Louis, Missouri and I do travel! I enjoy long walks on the beach after beautiful sunset weddings, hiking to the top of the mountain with brides and grooms, and also love intimate photos at your favorite local hangout if that's your style! Weddings requiring travel between 45 - 60 minutes are subject to a small flat rate travel fee in addition to the booked package. Weddings requiring travel greater than 60 minutes each way require The #UltimateBride Experience package and are subject to a flat rate travel fee.
Your sneak peeks will be posted to social media sites within 48 hours of your event. You will receive an online gallery link with all your wedding (YAY! YOU'RE MARRIED!!!!) photos within a maximum of 6 weeks. Delivery time may be less depending on the season I photograph your story.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I do know an amazing videographer if you need one, though!
Typically, couples book me 6-12 months before their wedding date. The late spring and late fall dates historically are the first dates booked. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
