Eagle Photography LLC

Hey! I’m Joseph. I love celebrating life! Since 2006, I have been photographing weddings in Boise area as well as other destinations. I’m not just another photographer with a fancy camera; because I truly care about what you want for your wedding photography. I want you not only to be thrilled with the final wedding photos but also enjoy the process along the way. I would be honored to capture the most important moments of your life! You will not only get my experience, my skills, and my artistic creativity, but also my heart, my soul, and my empathy!

One overwhelming feedback I received from my brides and grooms as to one quality that sets me apart is my ability to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of my camera. This is critically important because only when you are relaxed and comfortable will you show your genuine emotions, unique personality and truest beauty.

    Best Photographer in Boise

Joseph and Eagle Photography LLC were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. He was great when it came to communication, accepting both email or texts, and he responded right away. Joseph was by far the best vendor that we booked - the value and quality of everything we got was the best we have seen by far! For our engagement shoot, he wanted to know what type of relationship we had to make sure he captured it perfectly. He was amazing at our wedding, and our guests even loved him and wanted him for other shoots. My husband and I look back on the beautiful pictures to remember our special day, and we couldn't be happier with the work Joseph did. Everyone should book with Eagle Photography LLC!

    Awesome Photographer!

As a DJ and Venue owner, I've worked with Joseph many times at weddings and he has also done our family photos for the past few years. He is great to work with! Logistically, he hustles to stay on task and helps the events flow smoothly. Artistically, he takes amazing photos and uses natural or artificial light to make photos POP! Spontaneously, every photo shoot is different - if Joseph feels the vibe, he will inspire the scene and capture the vision and create fabulous pictures! Trust Eagle Photography for your important day!

    Awesome photographer

Joseph was so wonderful to work with and his photos are absolutely gorgeous! Our entire family and wedding guests loved him and thought we “had the coolest photographer ever”! I would most definitely recommend him to anyone looking for epic photos! He adds a touch of class and fun to the whole experience and leaves you smiling and satisfied with your choice.

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I typically have over 1000 picture for a typical wedding. All pictures will be edited.
Yes, I have drone videography as a supplement. I'm a FAA certified drone pilot.
I generally have over 1000 pictures for a typical wedding.
Yes. Professional wedding photographers should have the proper insurance for their business. If a wedding photographer does not have insurance, chances are he is new to the industry or not taking his business seriously.
In my 17 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Both. This is such an important question because it will really determine how flexible and experienced a photographer is while shooting your wedding. Since the lighting at wedding venues can change unpredictably, from harsh midday sun to dim candle lights, you would want a photographer who shoots both natural and artificial lighting. Choosing one or the other is like a Carpenter saying he only uses a hammer or a saw for the job. Different lights are just different tools. I use them all to get the job done right and beautifully.
Wedding photography has no second chance. To make sure you get beautiful wedding photos, you'll want to hire someone who has lots of experience and knows how to get those shots under pressure, someone who is a seasoned professional with the technical expertise and styles you like, someone who truly cares about what you want to achieve with your wedding photography. Wedding photography is our passion and not just a job. What sets me apart is my ability to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of my camera. This is the overwhelming feedback I received from my brides and grooms.
Ahh, let’s start with some coffee and talk about your wedding plan and goals. We will also work together in a real photography session like your engagement session. Of course, we will also communicate through email/text/call as often as you need.
Although since 2006 I've photographed and am very experienced in many different styles, I do what you like and not what I want. Photojournalism with a relaxed, fun and natural approach has been our clients’ favorite.
One of the best ways is to work closely together in a real photography session like your engagement session. I have worked well with brides and grooms with different personalities and preferences, and I guarantee to create beautiful images for you while you enjoy the process! One of the overwhelming feedbacks I get from my clients is “You made us feel so relaxed and comfortable!” This is imperatively important because only when you feel relaxed and comfortable can you show your genuine emotions and true beauty in your photos. Couples repeatedly told me at or soon after the engagement session that I made them feel like a million bucks!
Your wedding is your show! I'm honored to be there to capture your special moments. My approach is both interactive and discreet. I shoot in an unobtrusive manner and remains in the background for the majority of the day. There will be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there, such as the ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc. There will also be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish your goals while staying on schedule. I’m very comfortable directing a large group such as during family portraits. I work well under pressure and remain calm should the unexpected happen.
Yes, ALL pictures will be retouched. You will receive all high resolution finished digital images with a copyright release to allow you to print your own pictures and share them on social media without any extra cost to you. I typically deliver over 1000 pictures for a wedding.
Yes, I will be happy to and have always done that for other couples. This is such a great question yet very few asked! A good photographer should help plan the photo aspect of the day to make sure everything flows smoothly. The last thing you want to do is to be rushed on your wedding day. A seasoned photographer should also point out various things that can come up that you wouldn’t think about during planning the timeline for your wedding day. A great photographer should also know when the best light is, and schedule your photos during “golden hour lighting” if possible.
