I'm Darien! I live in a small town in southern Illinois. I am a wife, and mom of three beautiful kids. Let's just say I have no trouble keeping myself busy!! I have been shooting weddings for 5 years now. I was born and raised in the midwest but looove to travel. When I'm not shooting or traveling, you can likely find me on my couch with a cup of coffee watching Schitt's Creek or The Office.

Typically, couples book me about 13-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. I cull all of the best photos and edit them personally. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view a sneak peek album within 48 hours of your wedding. The final gallery takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Within this time, you can use your sneak peek gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints/thank you cards.
This answer varies on how long I am there on your wedding day and whether there is a second shooter or not. You can expect about 60-80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 5 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
