With years of experience & an award-winning approach to storytelling, I photograph weddings with calm intention and genuine care — capturing the quiet in-between moments just as thoughtfully as the big, joyful celebrations. Every connection, every tear, every laugh is preserved in a way that feels true to you & true to the day. Based in SE Indiana, I focus exclusively on couples & their love stories, from the “yes” to the “I do” & every milestone after.

I believe the most beautiful moments are the candid, unscripted ones, & I honor them through naturally edited, true-to-life imagery that will stand the test of time. From helping craft your timeline through the final dance of the night, your experience matters to me just as much as your photos. Ashley responds quickly and kept us feeling confident throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, Ashley showed up ready to work and brought thoughtful touches like a fan and water to keep us comfortable between shots. Her photos captured exactly what we envisioned and her true to color editing style was just what we wanted. Beyond just taking pictures, Ashley was warm and easy to be around, which made the whole day feel relaxed. My wedding wouldn't be the same without Ashley Ellis! For some background, I booked my wedding at Boondocks Barn & Lodge in Knightstown IN and it was HORRIBLE! The venue staff was so rude, there were flies EVERYWHERE on the grounds swarming us during our ceremony, and the day of coordinators skipped over special parts of my day such as my bouquet toss. When I think back on what my favorite part of my wedding day was... it was the times with my photographer. Ashley checked in with me throughout the day, and had an emergency kit on hand for anything I needed that I forgot to pack. My venue staff was stressing me out, but when I was alone with Ashley she would remind me that today was all about me and to smile and have fun, and it showed in my photos! During our private couples photos, it was so nice to escape the chaos of everything else and just be with my partner as my photographer captured moment of our love. The hour of private couples photos was honestly the BEST PART of our entire day! Not only did my photographer have to endure the abuse of my venue staff, but when we were running behind and would miss the time to capture photos of our sparklers, she stayed extra to make sure we captured all our special moments. She went above and beyond and was hands down the best part of my wedding experience! I will recommend her forever & always!!!! BOOK HER PLEASE!!! And your wedding photos and memories will be magical!

Wonderful Experience!
Ashley was excellent to work with! Professional and respectful, but also laid back and fun. She made sure she included everything we asked for, and all of our photos were beautiful. Highly recommend this business.

The best!!!
Ashley is seriously the best. She hustled so hard and her pictures are PERFECT. Her editing skills and professionalism is amazing. I highly recommend her! She’s capturing my sisters big day in 2024!!
