I’ve been a photographer for almost a decade. I married the love of my life, Ben and we have an unhealthy obsession with our pup, Avery. I love this job with everything in me. I've worked incredibly hard to learn how to connect with my couples. I’ve found through the years that the more comfortable I can make my couples, the better the photographs. It’s taken years to build up the ‘posing’ banks in my head, learning how to manage timelines, different vendors and strict timelines, all while still delivering amazing galleries. When I'm not working, you can find us at a local brewery, finding the best sushi, or booking our next trip to Mexico!

To describe my style...I like to say it's rich, moody, romantic, and playful! Really my goal is to capture the moments between poses. I don't love super stiff photo's! My use of light is key to my work and brand...but don't get me wrong, I love some flash too! I do my very best to put my couples at ease and really guide them through the entire process, start to finish. Booking me means a year + of planning up until your wedding day to make sure everything is perfect and your time with me is maximized.

    Breathtaking Engagement & Wedding Photography!

    We first stumbled across Ashlee Crowden on Instagram and were instantly in love with her aesthetic. It's real, playful, sexy and moody all at the same time. As venue owners and a newlywed couple, we have worked with Ashlee in many capacities. She has shot several weddings at Juniper Mountain House, including at our own! An LGBTQ+ friendly photographer, we felt like she captured our love so flawlessly. Almost two years later, our family and friends still talk about how good our photos are, a true testament to the timelessness of her photography. One of the things that surprised me most about working with her was how good she was at posing us! She made us feel really comfortable, even bringing music to the engagement shoot to get us warmed up. From a vendor perspective she is a dream to work with. I can't say enough good things about working with Ashlee - she's professional, kind, her photos are amazing, and she'll capture every moment you want to see from your engagement or wedding. Typically, couples book me anywhere from 6-15 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-8 weeks after your wedding date. But I love to send a few sneak peek photos within 48 hours from your wedding. You will also receive a USB with high-resolution image files in additional to you online gallery link that will be live for 10 years.
I do! I carry a million dollar policy. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
You can expect about 75 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. You also receive the black and white version of each image. A normal wedding gallery is anywhere from 1400-2000 images total.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge starting at $10 per image.
I have an assistant preset at all of my weddings to ensure you get all of the angles and moments throughout your wedding day!
Yes! I hear often that my couples are nervous or they are awkward in front of the camera. I will help guide you through your session/wedding with posing prompts the entire time. I promise it will be much easier than you're expecting!
