Annie McElwain started photographing weddings because she was drawn to the beautiful moments that happen between people. As a former actor, she loved telling the story of the day in photographs and was drawn to the real connection and emotion of life, relationships and family. For the past 15 years, her company has grown to a team of talented photographers capturing weddings all over California, the US and abroad. Her work can be seen in today's leading bridal magazines and blogs, and she had the honor of being named one of Martha Stewart Wedding's Top Photographers.

Annie photographed her first wedding in 2005 and over the years has developed an instinct as to when those key moments will happen throughout the day (and how to best capture them). She feels honored to witness the joy as well as the intimacy of photographing each unique wedding. Her photography goals include capturing authenticity and emotion, making her clients feel comfortable and having fun. Her favorite mentor used to say "life is meant to be lived." She loves capturing people doing just that.
