I'm a 20-something-year-old girl who loves family, crafting, shopping and, of course, weddings. I'm Columbus-born but now I live with my husband, Matt, and our dog, Amber, in the small town of West Lafayette. We've been married for two years and enjoy being with friends and family, vacationing and wine tasting. I've been a photographer for 7 wonderful years and have specialized in weddings for 5 of them. When I'm not taking or editing your pictures, you can find me in my craft room making a HUGE mess and *trusting the process* that whatever I'm making will be beautiful!

I love weddings. Seriously - I LOVE them. If I weren't a photographer, I would like to be a wedding planner. For me, getting to capture that wedding day magic is a dream! I also love people and forming relationships with the couples I work with. I think one of the greatest joys I experience is growing with my couples. I love being able to photograph someone's wedding and then seeing them the next year for an anniversary session or even to celebrate a pregnancy. Getting to know you is the biggest perk of my job!

    Amber + Elle Photography is the best!!

    My husband and I came across an ad for Amber + Elle Photography and knew it would be a perfect fit for our wedding after seeing the stunning photos on the Amber + Elle Photography website. We met with Mariah and decided to have her do our photos. We were so right! We had our engagement and wedding photos with Mariah. We loved them so much we even had her do our maternity photos for us. She delivered the most beautiful photos capturing some of the most important days of our life. We will truly cherish them forever. Usually the thought of getting photos seems stressful, but Mariah made us feel so at ease throughout the entire process. She is truly the best there is!

You can expect about 80 to 120 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Typically, couples book me about 10 - 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
I always have a second shooter to make sure I capture every detail of your wedding day! Sometimes, I’ll bring one more assistant photographer depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos through an online gallery about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Online galleries are very user-friendly, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I will still be the one to edit your photos.
