Amy Schenk is full-time professional wedding & portrait photographer serving the Dallas - Fort Worth area & beyond. Amy offers a custom-tailored, full-service luxury experience, and heirloom quality art that will last for generations.

My style is bold, vibrant, and timeless and I have been in business since 2008. I love to focus my attention on the quality of your images and my service over quantity. I carry general liability business insurance and only use professional-grade equipment. I am a full-time photographer, meaning I do not have a 9-5 job somewhere else. This allows me to better serve my clients and provide a faster turn around with the delivery of their final images. Besides digital images with online galleries, I also offer final art options such as wall art, canvases, framed art, wedding albums, parent books if interested!

It's great to be able to book your wedding several months in advance, however, I can also work with you on last-minute bookings as well.
I have a couple of wedding collections that come with a second shooter. However, most of the time I find clients hire me because of my style. For most of my weddings 6 hours of coverage time or longer, I find that when photographing by myself, I am able to capture just as much as having a second shooter. Having a second shooter means having to work with and edit another style.
After your wedding is over, every image taken is reviewed for quality control. It must meet my technical and artistic standards. Then, every image is mildly retouched such as adjustments accordingly such as cropping, lighting, contrast, color balance, etc. Additional retouching such as skin smoothing or object removal is done at my discretion.
As a full-time photographer, I am able to have a fast turn around time. Typically wedding images are presented to you between 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Many times a lot sooner.
While ACTS Photography cannot guarantee the number of images that will be delivered, you can expect between 25 to 75 images taken per hour of wedding coverage.
Absolutely! And I will be happy to provide your venue with a copy of my certificate upon request. Besides general liability insurance, I also carry equipment insurance as well.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never canceled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues with a similar style to mine. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
