I‘m Patrick Abanathy: husband, Western Kentucky native, international traveler, lover of gardening, baking, indie/world rock (even the new stuff) and, finally, great 80s pop! I grew up in this area and am never at a loss when it comes to the many beautiful wedding settings found in and around this wonderful place. Second to my amazing wife, Elizabeth, photography has been my passion for more than 25 years and wedding photography has been my life since 2013. I love to find the amazing, unseen angles and, moreover, I love finding them in new venues as well as in familiar settings.

At least three things set us apart: First, we edit for true color. In other words, we want your portraits to reflect your memory of your wedding day. While other photographers apply umbrella filters to their work, we like to keep it real and apply some fun filters to a handful of images that inspire us (don't worry, you receive all you images in true color as well). Second, we typically bring additional lighting to your reception to best capture your post-ceremony celebration. And last, but not least, we try to attend the ceremony rehearsal to both have a better idea of how the big day will go and so you know where we will be.
