HI! MY NAME IS RAILIE HOLLEY AND I AM THE OWNER AS WELL AS THE LEAD ARTIST AT OHIO MAKEUP ARTISTS LLC. I HAVE BEEN DOING MAKEUP PROFESSIONALLY FOR JUST OVER 12 YEARS. ONE THING ABOUT ME IS I AM A CHILD AT HEART WHO NEVER GOT OVER THE MAKEUP PHASE. ​ I STARTED THIS COMPANY AS AN ENTOURAGE OF ONE. ME. AFTER I HAD MY OWN WEDDING I REALIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST ON SUCH AN IMPORTANT DAY. AT THE END OF MY WEDDING, THE DAY WAS GREAT...BUT MY PICTURES WERE NOT. AND IT WAS THEN THAT I DECIDED TO GROW MY COMPANY TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL FLAWLESS MAKEUP! Now Ohio Makeup Artists is a TEAM of 4 artists I have trained!

Head Artist Bridal Package

Description

Our head artist has 12 years of experience in the bridal industry. We will use all 24 hour makeup that’s waterproof, transfer proof and smudge proof! The Bride will receive a pre mini facial which includes exfoliation, multiple moisturizers and facial mask customized to the clients skin care needs. The bride will also receive a full makeup application, a 100% customized foundation to match the clients skin tone, full sized lipstick and a set of lashes that can be worn up to 20X!

Sara’s Bridal Trial

Congratulations on your recent engagement and upcoming wedding! Let’s book your trial. Here, we will sit down and answer a questionnaire regarding your skin, skin care, makeup likes/dislikes, go over inspiration photos and get your customized wedding day makeup look! Once we get the look we will sit down, apply your makeup and adjust anything you’d like until the desired look is achieved!

The reason for this is because Our artists are knowledgable in products that will work best with your skin to last all day with no touch ups required. We are also trained to make sure that the best colors and products are used to suit your skin, skin tone and skin type. It is a luxury service that has never been regretted by any of Our clients.
We do not. However, If you are interested in a recommendations for bridal hairstylists, We have worked with many that we trust to refer, and will be glad to put you in touch with them. We have found in our working experience that when you choose two artists that specialize in their own craft, you will get the most beautiful result.
Once you decide to book, a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee will secure the date. The remaining 50% is due on the day of your wedding/event prior to the artist starting. Please note that dates are booked on a first come, first serve basis, and will not be final until a contract and retainer are received. A verbal agreement via email/phone will not be sufficient to book your date.
The artist you book will travel to you. Part of the luxury service that is hiring a makeup artist is not having to leave your place of comfort and have the artist come to you. However, if you have a small bridal party or do not meet the minimum and would like to travel to the artist of your choice you can definitely do so!
Yes, after a 20 mile round trip, there will be a travel fee added to your balance. The exact fee will be based on your location, and can be discussed at your time of booking.
Yes, there is a $150 fee for bookings on a holiday. We do accept bookings on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years weekends as well with a $300 holiday fee.
Our head artist has been trained in airbrush, and does have a machine. She prefers using traditional makeup because she finds that it is easier to manipulate to get the same, if not better, result than airbrush. She will be glad to go over with all of her thoughts on airbrush at your consultation, and if you are set on having airbrush, it is an option for a higher fee than traditional makeup.
Please wear a white or ivory shirt the day of your trial. The makeup will look different against different colors, to be sure your makeup will look the same on your big day as the day of your trial, it is recommended you wear the same color as your dress. It is also a great idea to book your trial on a day where you have a lot to do. Please come with a clean exfoliated face with no product.
That is totally dependent on the bride. If you choose to have An artist with you after the time it takes to get you and your bridal party ready, she can be booked hourly for touch ups. If you choose to have an artist with you the entire day throughout your reception, we will be happy to discuss our day rate with you.
We do not carry one specific brand of makeup in our kits. We have tried and tested hundreds of products and have chosen the very best for her clients. We carry everything from MAC, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, RCMA, Ben Nye, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and much much more. We believe that if your paying for a luxury service, that should also include luxury products that last all day and night.
Yes! If you do have a large bridal party or you’re on a small time frame we highly recommend having an artist book their assistant for your date. Our assistant will keep things clean, wash brushes, help with product application, keep things organized and help get the job done faster. If you would like to book one of our assistants let us know and the fee will be discussed upon booking.
Do you have a party with 9 or more? Do you have to be ready at an early time? Or are you not able to get into your venue at the time needed for the artist? If you answered yes to any of these questions you may need a second artist. We are a team of 3 artists. So if you do require an additional artist we can definitely do so! We do have a second artist fee which will be discussed when booking.

    Love Love Love!

    Railie and her team did mine and my wedding party's makeup for my wedding day and the experience couldn't have been any better! I Loved my look so much! We all felt ( & looked) so beautiful! The makeup lasted all night even after spending hours on the dance floor. Our makeup artists were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Ohio Makeup Artists!

    The Perfect Wedding Makeup

    I used Ohio Makeup Artists for my wedding on 9/22/2018, and let me just start off by saying that I have never felt more beautiful! Railie was an absolute dream to work with. Communication was a breeze and we did a trial run on the day of my wedding shower to see how my "Big Day" makeup would look. She takes your suggestions seriously and makes it into exactly the look you are going for. I used Ohio Makeup Artists for not only myself, but also all of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in-law. I received so many compliments that I've actually had two friends now use Ohio Makeup Artists for their wedding. I promise you will not be disappointed and you will feel like the most stunning bride on your special day!

    Wonderful Experience!

    Raillie from Ohio Makeup Artists was the makeup artist for my sister in law’s wedding and I LOVED my makeup that day. I knew as soon as I got engaged, I was going to book with Ohio Makeup Artists for my wedding day. Our wedding was and hour and a half from her usual area, however she have very reasonably priced travel expense added into our contract. All my ladies were sooo very pleased with their makeup that day! I would recommend Ohio Makeup Artists to anyone with a special event coming up that wants to look flawless and feel beautiful!
