Why should I hire a Makeup Artist?

The reason for this is because Our artists are knowledgable in products that will work best with your skin to last all day with no touch ups required. We are also trained to make sure that the best colors and products are used to suit your skin, skin tone and skin type. It is a luxury service that has never been regretted by any of Our clients.

Do you do hair?

Accepted Answer

We do not. However, If you are interested in a recommendations for bridal hairstylists, We have worked with many that we trust to refer, and will be glad to put you in touch with them. We have found in our working experience that when you choose two artists that specialize in their own craft, you will get the most beautiful result.

Question 3

How do I book you for my date?

Accepted Answer

Once you decide to book, a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee will secure the date. The remaining 50% is due on the day of your wedding/event prior to the artist starting. Please note that dates are booked on a first come, first serve basis, and will not be final until a contract and retainer are received. A verbal agreement via email/phone will not be sufficient to book your date.

Do you travel to me or do I come to you?

The artist you book will travel to you. Part of the luxury service that is hiring a makeup artist is not having to leave your place of comfort and have the artist come to you. However, if you have a small bridal party or do not meet the minimum and would like to travel to the artist of your choice you can definitely do so!

Do you charge a travel fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, after a 20 mile round trip, there will be a travel fee added to your balance. The exact fee will be based on your location, and can be discussed at your time of booking.

Question 6

Do you charge for events/weddings held on holidays?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a $150 fee for bookings on a holiday. We do accept bookings on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years weekends as well with a $300 holiday fee.

Question 7

Do you provide airbrush as a makeup service?

Accepted Answer

Our head artist has been trained in airbrush, and does have a machine. She prefers using traditional makeup because she finds that it is easier to manipulate to get the same, if not better, result than airbrush. She will be glad to go over with all of her thoughts on airbrush at your consultation, and if you are set on having airbrush, it is an option for a higher fee than traditional makeup.

How do I prepare for my bridal trial?

Please wear a white or ivory shirt the day of your trial. The makeup will look different against different colors, to be sure your makeup will look the same on your big day as the day of your trial, it is recommended you wear the same color as your dress. It is also a great idea to book your trial on a day where you have a lot to do. Please come with a clean exfoliated face with no product.

How long are you with the bride on her wedding day?

That is totally dependent on the bride. If you choose to have An artist with you after the time it takes to get you and your bridal party ready, she can be booked hourly for touch ups. If you choose to have an artist with you the entire day throughout your reception, we will be happy to discuss our day rate with you.

What makeup do you carry in your kit?

We do not carry one specific brand of makeup in our kits. We have tried and tested hundreds of products and have chosen the very best for her clients. We carry everything from MAC, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, RCMA, Ben Nye, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and much much more. We believe that if your paying for a luxury service, that should also include luxury products that last all day and night.

Do you have an assistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you do have a large bridal party or you’re on a small time frame we highly recommend having an artist book their assistant for your date. Our assistant will keep things clean, wash brushes, help with product application, keep things organized and help get the job done faster. If you would like to book one of our assistants let us know and the fee will be discussed upon booking.

Will I need more than one artist?

Accepted Answer

Do you have a party with 9 or more? Do you have to be ready at an early time? Or are you not able to get into your venue at the time needed for the artist? If you answered yes to any of these questions you may need a second artist. We are a team of 3 artists. So if you do require an additional artist we can definitely do so! We do have a second artist fee which will be discussed when booking.
