About Makeup by Alanna

Makeup by Alanna

Owner

Hi! My name is Alanna White! I moved to Missouri in 2022 from Boise, Idaho. I specialize in natural/soft glam, but I'm also able to do full glam and even SFX makeup! I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Boise September of 2019 and have been doing hair and makeup ever since! I'm so excited to open this next chapter of my life and meet all my beautiful 2027 brides! $180 - Bridal Hair and Makeup, $150 - For everyone else’s hair and makeup (per person), and $1 per mile traveled (I’m in Alton, Missouri) Love, Alanna

I’m a super happy, very outgoing small town gal from Ninilchik, Alaska. I moved to Boise to pursue my dream of being a makeup artist, and that dream came true in 2019! I moved to Missouri to be closer to family. I love doing makeup for every occasion, whether it’s your wedding day or Halloween makeup to scare your friends! I love every second I get to have you in my makeup chair. Love, Alanna *PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS, ANY TRAVEL OVER 2 HOURS AWAY REQUIRES A HOTEL STAY THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DAY, THANK YOU!*

Yes I do. I charge $1.00 per mile I travel. If your venue is over 2 hours away from me I also charge a lodging fee so I can stay close to your venue the night before to ensure I am there on time and we don’t have any acts of God keeping me from your wedding.
I use Armani Beauty’s Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and MAC.
Yes, I require a $150 deposit to hold your wedding day before we do the trial run. I do this because spots fill up fast and it would break my heart to have to turn you away because your wedding day was booked.
Of course! Natural looks are my specialty!
Please come with clean skin and dry hair for your appointment.
If you have lash extensions you can still get your makeup done. I will not add any mascara to the extensions only to your bottom lashes as this can cause problems for you and your lash technician.
Yes, strip lashes come with each makeup service, if you do not wish to wear falsies please inform me at the beginning of the appointment. Not using falsies won’t change the final price.
Of course! Just be sure to let me know ahead of time.
Only brides receive a trial run before their wedding. If anyone wants to do a trial run they can book it as an additional paid service before the event.
The bride must pay a $50 deposit to hold the wedding day (this goes towards the final price). The remaining balance must be paid in full the morning of your event, the day off can get a little hectic so if you’re wanting to pay in advance we can set something up. You are not guaranteed an artist or reservation until you have paid your $50 deposit.
No, the bridal hair and/or makeup price doesn't change whether or not you choose to do the trial run.
This depends on time and how many people are in your bridal party. If you have 4 or less people it will just be me. If there are 5 or more people then I will have another makeup artist join me the day of.
Yes, you can add or make any changes to who needs services up to 30 days before your wedding date.
Yes! I offer 10% off if the bride and/or groom is in the military or has served in the military. Thank you for your service.
Unfortunately, no you cannot.
That is absolutely fine, as long as it’s not the whole bridal party!

    THE BEST EVER

Alanna is very professional and easy to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the turnout! Easy, quick, and clear communication at all times. Helped me fumble my way through our contract info (any trouble was from my end of things). Day of, was prompt and precise, made me feel beautiful, and had us all looking gorgeous in no time. Great natured and is fantastic at what she does. Would choose a million times over to work with!
