Preparation for what would become her ultimate career choice began early in her life. Even in middle school and junior high, she was toying with make up, creating looks for her peers using techniques sophisticated by any standard, but especially for a teen. By high school, her focus was clear enough that she divided her time between a rigorous college prep curriculum and a vocational school in order to begin to study the craft of beauty more seriously.
