Edwin Paul opened its doors in 1984. A vision to create an atmosphere of fun and professionalism. A place where the average work day was not considered 'work'. Edwin had a passion for hair and beauty that he wanted to share with others. Located right outside of Detroit in Grosse Pointe Woods, he made a local home for anyone looking to feel their best and the service only places that New York or Los Angeles could offer.

Thirty years later, Edwin Paul Salon is still one of Metro Detroit's top salons. The only salon in the entire Midwest that requires all new stylists to commit to 4000 hours of training. That is above the 1500 required by the state. Only after completion of all final testing may they begin building a clientele. All stylists must also commit to a minimum of two major educational events each year. These are the best and most talented individuals between here and New York. This system has worked perfectly for 33 years and is a model for the top 3% of the industry. Growth and education is our culture and will never change.
