I'm Desiree, or Dez for short. I've been doing makeup for 12 years and hair for about 6! Doing makeup and hair is such an intimate experience- I pride myself on my upbeat energy and helping set a tone of positivity for such a special day, while making you and everyone in your party look and feel incredible.

After working 300+ weddings, I am passionate about transforming women through beauty to make them feel and look like the most confident versions of themselves. I am an airbrush expert! Your makeup will stay on all day (and night!) It will also withstand the happy tears. I use top of the line products and tools to ensure that your hair will also stay. I love doing bombshell waves, looks with a retro vibe, and chic, effortless styles that will compliment your outfit and your personal style.

    I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist for my wedding day. She brought my vision to life perfectly — my hair turned out exactly how I wanted, but somehow even better than I imagined. My makeup was flawless and enhanced my natural features so beautifully that I still felt completely like myself, just a more polished and bridal version. What truly stood out was how calm, caring, and attentive she was throughout the entire getting-ready process. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of during such an emotional and busy part of the day.     I can’t speak highly enough of Dez - she’s so receptive, funny and warm, and that’s not even getting to the makeup and hair she did on my wedding day! It was the perfect mix of Old Hollywood glam waves with naturalistic makeup that highlighted glowing, poreless skin (courtesy of her careful airbrush skills!) I felt radiant, like a silver screen siren, but also like I looked like myself - exactly what I wanted! Everyone complimented me on how luminous I looked - a combo of true happiness, love & Dez’s deft hand. A true artist in every sense of the word, and a world class creative collaborator.

    Had a wonderful experience with Dez as the HMU artists for my wedding! She is a ray of sunshine, and was totally at ease both in my HMU trial and in the chaos of day-of getting ready, which was a wonderful energy to have. She provided a thorough Q&A for me to complete, which she referenced throughout the process, and truly delivered on the exact look and vibe I was hoping for. She also did a great job on the rest of my wedding party's HMU. She also came along for initial photos to make sure everything was photographing ok and that my hair was holding shape, etc (which it did all night). She also provided extra lip color and other make-up touchups for me to use throughout the night! Loved working with her and would absolutely recommend to other brides or folks who want to look their best for another big event.

    I have never felt more beautiful than my wedding day. That is all do to Dez and her incredible ability to listen, advise and work her magic! Dez is one of those people who exude good energy. She is so easy to talk to and cares deeply for her clients. When I did my trial, she went above and beyond to style my hair four different ways so I could have a clear vision of what I wanted. Dez stayed with me and my bridal party at the venue for touch ups. Throughout the planning process, she was always a text away to support any of my beauty questions and needs. There are so many nerves the morning of the wedding day. Working with Dez the nerves fade away. You can trust Dez whole heartly to make you feel like a bridal beauty!
